Ringo has always been my absolute favorite on the farm. It hurts my heart to see him struggling, but he’ll always be the top guy in my eyes. I love him so much. Thank you for taking such great care of him, even when he was ramming your knees. ❤️❤️
Your message hit home today, Jami. I was born with a type of dysplasia that affects my bone and soft tissue. Spent my youth doing as much as I could to be active and live as many experiences as I could.... probably spent too much time partying but I have no real regrets. As secondary diseases set in, arthritis when I was 17, the docs started telling me I'd be in wheel chair by the time I was 23. Didn't happen. I defied them at every chance. They said I should be sedentary.... so as soon as I graduated from high school, I went to work at a ski resort. Worked there for 10 years. It does eventually take it's toll and at some time you have to pay the piper. I did begin to transition into a power chair at 43 (I physically can't operate a manual chair, the arm movements create too much pressure on my brain stem). I went back to college and enjoyed a second 20 year career in higher education. Now, I'm retired, and spend my days on a couch, feeling like Ringo. Great video.... Ringo, buddy.... it's now time spend your time driving everyone nuts by reliving your past by telling stories. 😂😎
I understand. I became ill my Senior year of college, I pushed through because I was helping care for my dad, who was dying. He died the day after I graduated. Well, I didn't get better, I have CFS. I fought to work in my field, Ceramics for 5 years. I worked for 5 days and slept for 2. I developed many autoimmune diseases and then COPD, then at 58 I found out that I have a latent form of Cystic Fibrosis that doesn't help at all. I'm sorry you are now sedentary, but just think how we would feel if we had not pushed the boundaries. Much love and respect. Shari
Aww what a sweet video about our Ringo. It’s always hard to watch your pets grow older. He will always be the big man in the pasture. Thank you Jami for making this about him.
@@irenedavo3768 why would you take his bell from him? Taking that from him would make him feel less. Remember what Lester always says “ the leader wears the bell”. Just because he is older doesn’t mean he isn’t still in charge.
@Tracy agree that would not be good. Losing his bell would be like losing part of himself. Like taking the crown from the king before he’s dead, and making the next in line king. Plus all of all of us older gals know everyone has really bad day when the pain is worse. But then after having a down day things aren’t so bad.
We have a cat that has cancer . He sometimes acts as though he's not going to be here in the morning 😕. Then he acts like qa kitten playing with his favorite toy for hours in the morning . Keep on keeping on Ringo you made me love you .
Having arthritis myself I so understand Ringo. Poor baby. He is such a lovable character even when being mischievous. Hard to lose weight when you hurt. Wear and tear does take its toll. We wear out just like our vehicles. Jamie you are so wise
Jami, Ringo is loving the loving he is getting from you! He is soaking it up and it is priceless. So glad you filmed this, for the memories. Ringo has been and always will be the King of ISS. ❤🙏❤
Poor Ringo. My heart breaks for him. I remember some of the 1st videos I saw of him were when he was so Fiesty. He's still one of my favorites. Hang in there Ringo! Old age sucks! We all love you! ❤️
Ringo is a champion in my book. He is so much part of the Sanctuary with his sweetness and crazy antics over the years. Who doesn't love someone like that?! How can one not? He attached to my heart from the get go so that is why it's hard to see him like this. Breaks my heart but he couldn't be in a better place. I love that little dude.
Ringo has the most beautiful eyes. It seemed when he came back to ISS he seemed to be his old self when he was running. It was a relief to see that. Hopefully he feels better soon. Miss his antics 💖💖
Oh how I love Ringo! My heart breaks to see him in pain! My old country vet has always said the younger you neuter an animal the better it is for them. You’re so right Jami, the more wear and tear on your body when you’re younger the more you’ll suffer later. I often say if I had known I was going to live this long I would’ve taken better care of myself when I was younger.😂 God bless you all and keep you safe during these most extraordinary times❤️🙏
Aww, Ringo was really enjoying the loving and pets you were giving him Jami. He seemed to be responding to you speaking softly to him, that was so moving. He is such a lovely boy, with a beautiful, expressive face. Lots of love to him, I hope his pain meds help. Annie in Wales. 😺
Man, I've followed you for quit awhile and this crazy, funny, loveable guy brakes my heart when he's down. Jamie you're the best mama! Blessings sent your way!
Aww Ringo is and will always be the big man on the farm he is definitely a cool goat it has been fun watching all of his antics it saddens me to watch him get older you guys take such wonderful care of all the animals thank you Jami for sharing this video of Ringo
Just the very thought of losing Ringo causes such profound heartache. Watching this brought a flood of memories of a rambunctious black Billy goat wrecking havoc and knees, chasing anyone who dared to enter his pasture even if it were to bring feed or treats. Just the thought or mention of his name and my memory of Lester with his white helmet challenging Ringo to a headbutting competition comes to mind. He was such a handsome man in his prime that it didn't take much effort to go out for a stroll and have a harem follow him home. Not to mention his pride when the Golden Girls were born. He was so proud of them he convinced Meg to do it again. He was never the same after losing her. I wonder if he blamed himself.
My poor Ringy’s gotten older and slowing down. He’s like a lot of us with the aches and pains. He can still kick butt when he has a mind to though😆🤗❤️❤️
When I look into Ringo’s eye, my heart melts. I LOVE that boy. He still get spurts of energy and you can tell he’s got that devil in him still… When that day comes, I will be extremely sad and cry my eyes out. Just typing that made me start crying. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for all the loving care you give him.
Ringo is such a special goat and very well loved. He played hard, yet he is always there to protect his Lady friends. I hope the medication helps him to feel better. The best thing is you (Mom), gave him some loving attention. Jami, you are a great Mom to the boys and all the big and littles. Love to you all including Ringo.🐐❤
Ringo he has always been my favorite 🐐. Ringo has made a lot of us laugh over the years. I love the one where he brought someone's goats' home. Aww he loves ❤you too Jamie, you can see it.
Ringo has been my 1st, and biggest, favorite. I'm sitting here crying...lol.. I know how he feels. I'm 67 and I have severe degenerative arthritis. I barely hobble around the house. I've been going through a lot of tests.. Physical therapy... Pain clinics... MRI'S and cat scans...injections...I hope his meds help him to live out the rest of his life comfortably. Love that Ringo!!❤❤
Thanks for sharing this special time with Ringo! We all love this feisty goat and it hurts to see him slow down and in pain but you all give him the best life possible and he simply adores you!❤. Hang in there buddy!
Jami. Can I suggest you put a chalk board in one of the barns. A communication board. That way everyone can communicate when someone gives meds, or feeds green hay etc . Just an idea.
Ringo has always been my favorite , sorry but he’s the one who got me to start watching your videos . He was so feisty and devilish I loved it , so sorry to see him not feeling well! Love all the babies but Ringo is my favorite .
What a bittersweet video. I love your little talks with the babies, and I'm guessing it's because it's something I would do. I hate that Ringo is in pain. He loved every minute of that affection! 🥰 I think that he's still spunky and we get to see bits of that when his meds kick in. You're right, he never would slow down and just rest. Sending Ringo love from S.C. 💜
Sadly, he's still the same goat with an onery streak on the inside, but all of his wild days have really taken their toll. He & I have a lot in common in that respect. Medicine is our life along with the pain, but man we had some good times. I hope he'll have better days than not. Love you Ringo 💜💜💜
I ❤️ Ringo! Heartbreaking to see how much he has changed but I love all the video time he does get. Oh my goodness I would be sitting next to him all day and loving on him even if he might stink lol. Hugs and kisses to my little guy 💙 It would be cute to see the golden girls have babies and keep little Ringo's legacy alive 💙
Just last week Lester mentioned the possibility of letting the girls at LHL have babies with Bri’s two boy goats given to her by Pawpaw who haven’t been neutered yet. Their names are Lefty and Pancho. They are a little young still but I was thrilled that Lester was thinking about it! He’s having baby fever I think now that the ostrich babies aren’t tiny babies anymore… Lol‼️
Ringo reminds me of one of the goats from the book The 3 Billy Goat Gruffs. He’s always been such a huge presence at Ima and it’s a shame he’s definitely slowed down. I hate to think that one day we as a whole family will lose him when he makes his way across Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for always being in tune with how he feels and you’ll know and he’ll tell you when it’s time to part ways, but that time isn’t yet. Hope he feels better soon and is out there leading his gang of lovable misfits .
I’ve always loved to watch Ringo!! Never knew what he was up to. Sad to see him getting older but Love that’s he’s wanting Love now. I think if you’d sat down he’d of crawled up in your lap. Sweet boy. ❤❤
Ringo is so lucky to have come to you, you have such a loving heart for your babies!! We are all getting older and he is so lucky to have you to help him through the tough times. Thanks so much for your loving heart, it is so great to watch! ❤❤❤
Ringo is strong and he's living with great friends and awesome family (animal's and human ). We all have to adjust to new age and every year brings new pain. I hope when he does pass he has a big happy smile on his face. I love that goat.
Awwwww the video has barely started and I'm already like my heart is breaking.... I love Ringo so much he is my absolute favorite....I know he is old and slowing down but the thought of him not being there at the sanctuary some day just hurts like hell and awww Maggie and Dan I love them to and Maggie is a big part of the sanctuary as well and Dan is so sweet I love all the babies so much 💗💗💗💗
I love Mr. Ringo! My back is riddled with arthritis and disc disease so I empathize with sweet Ringy. Jami, he enjoys you rubbing him and talking sweetly to him. He is one of my favorites.
6:32 Jami you are SO RIGHT! I’m 34 and didn’t take good care of my body or health and now I’m paying for it. Two years ago I was diagnosed with LADA diabetes, fibromyalgia, lupus, arthritis, autoimmune issues and one more that I can’t think of. I also have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and memory issues. Every day is a big battle for me. I now tell anyone younger than me DO YOUR BODY RIGHT! It’s not worth the outcome not taking care of your body. Much love this beautiful Tuesday morning!
Has much has we hate to think or even accept it. All our times run out. I hope upon hope Ringo still has lots of time with all of us. He is the Icon of ISS. When that horrible day happens please keep and mount Ringos collar and bell with honour somewhere in this part of the barn.
Awwwwwww our poor poor Ringy. It’s so heartbreaking to watch him getting older and being full of arthritis. I just love that little guy so so so much, he’s always been my favorite farm animal. What a sweet moment between you two. He sure was loving being the center of your attention. And getting all the loves and pets and scratches. It’s so hard to watch him go from the fiesty guy he was to how he is now. Dang, stupid old age!!!!!!! I love you Ringo❤❤❤❤
Ringo He's always been one of my favorite animals, Thank you Jamie and Lester and everybody who'd been taking care of him, I will pray for him and to everybody in that farm, I know how it feels I lost my animals, We're here for you and we'll pray for him and to all the little's and bigs, Thank you for sharing and God-bless
I loved the video when he went and collected the other ladies, from Kim's I think, to add to his harem. Just herding them back to his pasture like it was no big deal. A big personality in a little body. He has lived hard, but well, at ISS and no doubt appreciates the love and care he gets in his later years.
Ringo has always had my heart he's such a special goat and it's hard seeing him not feel good. he is the top billy goat we love you Ringo feel better soon sweetheart ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘🐐
Thank you Jami for making this video about Ringo, I think of all the animals at the sanctuary Ringo has the most followers! It is sad to watch him get old however he still loves to be loved on! Thanks for always taking such good care of him. Enjoy your blessed day XXXO 🤗
It’s so true what you said about being depressed when your hurting. I can’t imagine how people can stay positive when the live with chronic pain. I’m certain that all the fencing Lester did at LHL didn’t do him any favors
Awww poor Ringo! I feel so bad for him and understand the pains of growing older. I hope your medicine helps you feel better big boy. We love you Ringo! ❤️🐐
Ringo you’re such a cute old guy! Watching you with Jami was so sweet she loves you so much & I can tell you love her just as much! Hope you can stick around for awhile as it will certainly be a sad day for all when you go! Love you handsome 💙
I love Ringo so much. ❤️ He is such a vibrant character. It breaks my heart to see him on his knees so much. 💔 Don’t worry Ringo you will always be the GOAT! Sending prayers and lots of love for him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are so right Jamie I turn 62 this year and I can't seem to do those things I use to. I get so mad I just don't feel like it anymore. I survived cancer but it took a toll. Alot of health issues. Depression is just realizing you are not who you use to be. If I push myself i make worse messes drop things run into things ect. Thanks for reminding us to just except it and enjoy the time we have left. Love your show.
Thank you for giving Ringo your lunch time today. It's obvious he appreciates it very much. I think my saddest realization when I was a kid was that dogs don't live as long as people when all the sudden our dog that was only a year older than me was old. I love Ringo and I love to see when he has good days and how well you guys take care of him especially on his bad days
Jamie, thank you for loving on Ringo during the times when he is hurting and needs it the most. I love that feisty old goat and am sad to see time taking it's toll on him. You all are so good to the babies both at Ima Survivor and Longhorn Lester's and I think you are wonderful. I am sorry to hear about Lester's injury and difficulties with arthritis. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time in dealing with his recovery and keeping both farms running smoothly. I'm also dealing with severe arthritis that has unfortunately and unexpectantly brought serious challenges to my everyday life and I don't wish this pain on anyone.
I love Ringo so much and it breaks my heart to watch him in so much pain. I’m glad you keep up on his meds, he needs them. Ringo was very much effected by Meg’s passing. That boy loved her so much. I used to love watching the videos where they would be rubbing and loving on each other. I don’t like when they are in a corner facing the wall, we all know that’s not a good thing. Lots of love and prayers for Ringo!!!
First 10 minutes you just nailed my daily existence and frustrations that’s for sure! I adore 🥰 Ringo I relate to him I’m 50 end of January but feel older and ornery
That made me think of myself. I was a perpetual motion machine, single mother with 3 children, full time job and part time job. I raised my kids, sent them off to college and marriage. I had bout 4 years of freedom until I was 54 yrs old. My first spine surgery was at 54. Several surgeries later I became disabled. I'm 80 and homebound now. Chronic pain with nerve damage. I don't see my adult children much and certainly noone else. I'm alone now. Last night's dream was about me taking care of my children when they were young....no I'm 80 yrs old living alone and my world is UA-cam and Facebook plus television and church livestream. I'm like Ringold yet I have noone like Jami. I 've had a good life but I'm ready to go. At least I won't be in pain. I hope my children will remember that I loved and still love them.
Ringo has always been my absolute favorite on the farm. It hurts my heart to see him struggling, but he’ll always be the top guy in my eyes. I love him so much. Thank you for taking such great care of him, even when he was ramming your knees. ❤️❤️
mine too 😢
Mine to.
Always will be my favorite too!❤️
My favorite too ❤️
Maybe Lester should share his testosterone meds with Ring Ring. 😢
🙏
I am so glad you proved them all wrong Laura!! Happy you lived your life and made all the memories. Thank you for sharing❤
I love this so very much ❤️

You could just see the love in his eyes while you were rubbing and scratching him Jami. ❤️
I’ve never seen Ringo take this much time for love and affection. Such a sweet boy ❤
I’m teary eyed. Ringo is special. Still has the sparkle in eyes
I love how you honor him with taking care of his medical needs and grooming him and telling him of your love for him. He is a lucky billy goat. ❤️

Ringo is a special guy ❤ I appreciate you showcasing him this morning, giving him extra loves, and being so so intuitive to each animals needs!
Gosh I remember when he would get out and bring the ladies home lol.
Can he have Adequin injections. They last longer and really helped my dog. It’s also used on horses.

Ringo is strong and he's living with great friends and awesome family (animal's and human ). We all have to adjust to new age and every year brings new pain. I hope when he does pass he has a big happy smile on his face. I love that goat.
Ringo is my favorite. Every time I see him feeling bad it makes me cry. I wish I could do something to help him. Feel better Ringo
Awwwww the video has barely started and I'm already like my heart is breaking.... I love Ringo so much he is my absolute favorite....I know he is old and slowing down but the thought of him not being there at the sanctuary some day just hurts like hell and awww Maggie and Dan I love them to and Maggie is a big part of the sanctuary as well and Dan is so sweet I love all the babies so much 💗💗💗💗
From one old goat to another, I love you so much Ringo❤️
I love Mr.
Poor Ringo! I hate he’s not feeling good. He’s one of my favorites!! Praying he feels better soon.
I also love Ringos walk of shame..
At least he doesn't have a stick attached to his horns, like Sister Kim's goat.
Sending prayers to Ringo and hope he get better 🙏 ❤
It breaks you heart 💔 when you see your pets grow old but there is one thing when they live with you all they have the best of care
I love Ringo so much. ❤️ He is such a vibrant character. It breaks my heart to see him on his knees so much. 💔 Don’t worry Ringo you will always be the GOAT! Sending prayers and lots of love for him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I must admit that Ringo is my favourite. He has so much personality. He is slowing down.. Love you Ringo. 💕💕
I am so thankful to hear your story -
Good morning, happy Tuesday. Poor Ringo. So hard to see him getting old.
Aww, I love sweet Ringi! It hurts my heart to see him in pain! Hopefully the meds kick in as soon as possible to give him some relief!❤️❤️
Jami I so look forward to your videos. You have a way of touching the emotions of you & your babies. Just love you girl!! ❤❤❤
Ringo is like a sponge soaking in every drop of attention so he can feel better. Love you, Ringo.
Awe poor Ringo.. over the years he has change so much. We love him! Praying for him. ❤
Oh!!! Jami he is so loving your touch. Ringo I love you dude. You are loved by so many people.
Oh poor Ringo, prayers going up for him🙏🏼
