- Опубліковано 21 жов 2024
- This tutorial will teach you how to control excessive color bleeding (color bounce) in Vray and 3ds max using two V-Ray Materials.
what is color bleeding?
Color bleeding is an effect in 3D rendering where one object cast its color on the other objects when light falls on it.
There are 2 ways to control color bleeding. Both are different and of equal importance.
Method 1- Using Vray Wrapper Material.
Method 2- Using Vray Override Material.

yes. very well explained. thanks for the tuto. but now the new problem is in Chaos Vantage. this GI override material doesn't work at all. all of those material with high saturation will still affect the adjacencies even the GI material is override with low saturation material. any idea how to solve it? thanks in advance.
I'm still not using chaos vantage. So I have to try it first. If I find a solution I will update you.

Super tutorial.... Thank you sir
You are welcome Varsha
right click on the red object, choose vrayproperties, then reduce the generate gi..
Thank you for your feedback. Just want to add one thing.
The vrayproperties technique is very good but it doesn't work in every situation.
Example: if you have multiple materials on an object but you want to control the colour bleeding of one material. Then the vrayproperties will not be useful.
Thankyou God bless you for sharing

Can you make one same video.
How we can apply same material in slate material editor...please
It's really easy. Just pick your original material with picker. Then create an wrapper material. Then simply pick the original material output node and put it in the base material slot.
