If somebody tells you your son is eactly like you you feel so happy from inside a sense of pride takes over. On the other hand if someody tells you
that your child isn't like you you feel dissapointed right?
I used to feel like this a lot when Lakshu was little and people used to come over and they used to compare his looks and mannerism
at the end of the day we used to feel happy or sad about it ..But..
the more I think..the more I am convinced about it that why should it effect us?
If a child in a situation reacts or behaves the same way as we would have behaved or reacted
How Boring is that!
How Predictable is that &
I dont want that ...If we are not letting our kids express their individuality then he is living a life... that you want him to live not how he or she wants to live!
If you are existing as an individual you have your own uniqueness..
your have your own style, your mannerisms, the way you talk, the way you lead your life. I think its enough to be your own self and
One sample like you is enough in this universe to exist
But your child also behaves in the same way ..I dont think
there is any fun in that.
So..let your child be
let your child fall
let your child make mistakes
learn
unlearn
and that when he will lead his life his way
i think that what iis great parenting
So next time when somebody tells you that your child is not like you then
You should be happy about it because your child is unique.
And nobody can be like him.
