This has to be a drawing of an actual neighborhood. Every little detail is a perfect replica of what i used to see while living in Japan. The type of brick, the bush behind the rails, the type of gate, the pop out windows, the car cover, like everything. I love this. I have it full screen on one monitor to feel like I'm looking out the window.
Actually, it is rather "collective image" than actual neighborhood. But thanks, it means I've reached my goal. :)

As the two of you stand on the street for a few minutes, you start to notice the beautiful blue sky, the fluttering petals of the sakura tree, and the gentle hum of distant traffic. Your stress and boredom melt away, and you start to feel a sense of calm stir deep within you.
It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind of everyday life. Take a pause once in awhile to just soak everything in.

Once there was a boy. He didn’t have a name. He was just called “the boy” . He lived alone on a small beach. Nobody knew he lived there. Sometimes people would come there and fish but always thought it was visiting too. The boy had nobody to live with. Nobody to look up to. He was forgotten. A waste of a human he thought. He lived in a abandoned fishing cabin under a tree. It was cold and musty but after many years you forget. He deserved the cold he would think. He would take lots of walks on the beach looking for crabs and to go fishing for food. This particular walk he found something else. It was a pelican. It was abandoned in its nest. Small and forgotten. It lived alone is a cold nest. The boy picked it up the poor baby pelican and rushed it back to the cabin in got it fish he caught yesterday and fed it to him. He ate it quickly. Little did he know he was about to start a amazing friendship. For 6 months the pelican and the boy lived in the abandoned cabin all alone but found comfort and friendship in each other. He was confused why he felt this way to this pelican. What was so special about this one? He saw pelicans all the time. He thought back to when he found it: cold and alone in a nest. He looked up at the ceiling. Through the cracks of wood he saw the night stars. He thought a bit. Then he looked around his cabin. He finally found why. He was alone and cold too. He found someone who felt the way he did and understood him. He found comfort in a bird. He looked at the sleeping pelican on the end of his broken mattress. “He’s just like me” he whispers “he understands how I feel.”

I visited Tokyo in October of 2019. There’s so much nature there, but also a big city feel, so the scenery was gorgeous. My favorite part was that there were so many little cafes and bakeries there. They actually felt very quaint and cozy, unlike a lot of the big, corporate cafes where I live. The cafes and bakeries are usually more French-style, but they do have a Japanese twist to them, of course. I felt so relaxed and content there, so this playlist brings back a lot of those emotions.
Have you been to some of the temples? They are super beautiful!

I used to listen to this while studying in my program and living at home. It was my favorite out of all my chill Lofi playlists. Now, it’s a year after graduation. I’m working full time and struggling to find myself. Missing family and feeling lonelier than i ever did before. I now long for the day I live near the people I love. This playlist found me again. Sometimes I’ll listen to this and go back to a moment where I really wanted this for my life. I couldn’t wait to be where I’m at now. But the hustle and grind is still very constant and it’s slowly killing me. But every stage of life has its bits and pieces you’ll miss dearly. This playlist reminds me of that. Don’t miss out on those bits and pieces.
Anyone having a bad time? Just keep working, you CAN do it. Truly 90% of it is just showing up, no matter what you feel like. You CAN succeed, it may not be at this thing you are doing now, maybe it will be something else, but everyday by a matter of fact brings you closer by process of elimination to that which you can succeed at.
Second person here, waiting for everybody else to come for the needed happiness. We are all family here. Time for cake and a road trip to the orchard for fruit.

It still fascinates me how just the pure thinking of being here and part of this picture and comment section makes me genuinely happy. It is a short moment but a very powerful one. I am drinking a coffee I grabbed to reward myself with and now I imagine being in this picture, how it calls up nostalgia and some good times. Some of them that even never happened. I don't know where these memories and feelings come from but seems like they were hidden inside me in the deep. I am glad they got out for once.
Right now while I wrote the comment I was happy for a short time and it put a smile on me.
Sometimes i remember this time when i was young. Playing with my siblings and friends in the swimming pool of our town, after that enjoying the sun on our skins and eating some barbecue and french fries our parents prepared for us. Sometimes, when i think with a warm stitch of nostalgia about this time i imagine what if somebody had told us in this time, that 20 years later we wouldn't meet at the swimming pool, that we would work in our jobs and never meeting again, that there would be a virus the whole world struggles with, that could kill the older people we love and even kill some of us. When i'm listening to this playlist and seeing the blue spring sky of the artwork i imagine walking down this road with my friends and just talking about the strange dream i had, when i fell asleep on my poolchair "you wouldn't believe it, i dreamed the whole world went crazy, everybody was fighting each other and there was that pandemia, but they didn't stop fighting but started to fight even more. I'm so lucky it was all just a dream. So who thinks i will master the salto into the water this time? "

I actually used to live right in Tokyo Japan. I lived there for 5 years of my life, however, I was quite little (6-11 years old) so I never really realized how lucky I was. Looking back now I just wish I could go back and actually apprentice being able to live in such a beautiful place. I live somewhere else now, much less beautiful than Japan but I still try to be grateful because one day I will want to go back. Appreciate what you have, you never know how much you'll miss things until they're gone 💕

I know this one is a bit weird, but this image and ambience reminds of my job in door to door sales for a pest control company. I have been thinking the same thing. I have all the things about where I want to live,(in what city) what I would do for a job, food places, culture, and I am learning Japanese too. My parents say I am very wise for thinking out this kind of stuff while I am still a child. But to be quite honest I am almost a teenager and just have a lot of time on my hands. My condolences to his family . He passed away at the age of 54 due to Aortic dissection . But now who will finish his story ? BERSERK is to great of a story to be left unfinished. That's life I think.
I couldn't believe my eyes . I was like ,"Now Berserk will never end". I was expecting more chapters this year as moonlight boy approached GUTS but I think I shall suffer with this for eternity .
I ate mangoes today . Had online classes . Slept a lot too. I hope the upcming times will bring waves of joy upon you and me my friend .

always felt so chill and relax listening to all these jazz, lofi ish make me imagine myself traveling somewhere across the world meeting new people especially during this quarantine, i cant really go out and having these imaginations and the music really keep me going in life. i love love love music and sometimes felt like playing myself a song on my guitar but im still pretty bad at the chords but i love to play the guitar although its not exactly at the right chords or the right way.
i imagine myself on the beach so often thinking about what if i was born in a different country, different parents, different body, different friends, different lifestyle, what if whatever i have now is not with me anymore. what if i was born rich or poor, what would that nicole be thinking, what would that nicole be doing, and how would she survive?
where is she if she's not here?
People always seem to wonder what could have happened, what can happen, and what is happening. We can only change two out of three of these, but we choose to wonder anyways because human minds don’t care what logic says is impossible.
I can and do wonder constantly about what could have happened, but about the things I once had control over. What if I said something different, what if I got a higher grade, what if I talked to the person beside me in class.
Anyways, I bet in any alternate world where you are born rich, poor, in a different body, born somewhere else, or any other variable, I bet that any Nicole is still a pretty nice person, at least from what I can tell. :]
