There's actually changes at the gladiator skin, 3:49 at level 1 you can see there's red stripes at the legs, The Sword that its being held too has a white color. 3:55 at level 3 there's another little change with more armor pad at the shoulder and the sword has neon light . 3:56 at level 4 you can see there's more armor pad and design at the legs and some parts of his body

sword changes color to red and i believe this is a metal gear rising reference with gladiator being Raiden and the sword in the later upgrades belonging to Jetstream Sam

i like the new style tds is doing with skins now they add more designs and cook custom animations with the skin
They got their skin designers at gunpoint with these new skins bro. No way they really cranking out like another skin crate with custom animations every couple weeks.
The sword Gladiator uses is the murasama, specifically Jetstream Sam's mursama from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
This is a refrence to the fact that anywhere Gladiator attacks there will be *BLOOD, SHED-*

Phantom Toxicgunner is now officialy my favorite skin. It just holds the gun in such a cool way and my favorite lvl on it is 0 and 1.

the one i like the most is prob the commander i just like the head and the suit design he just looks soooo cool!
im still waiting for the day that we see a minigunner skin that has the minigun strapped to its back rather than holding it. i also wish they would make a phantom accel or some other tower that would fit this really well. tds is doing great with their new skins, but they are lacking in some areas, like how pursuit and ace either have no skins or all of its skins are the same but with different colors

The phantom gladiator DOES change at level 3-5 the sword changes

Fav is either the sledger or engi skin.
Sledger: frost invasion was my first event and I hold it dearly

The Shotgunner on all levels seems to be using the SAIGA-12 /12K, a real firearm that's semi-auto magazine fed shotgun.
I like the design of phantom skin for engineer and toxic gunner, but sad i dont have them.
Phantom gladiator is my favorite, it’s so badass I really hope I can get it from one of the 2 free crates from the battle pass

The skins are inspired from the metal gear rising bosses which is pretty cool for hardcore fans
as soon as i saw the katana i wanted to get that skin so badly

Idk as the skin line just seems to have good theme and animations that make it feels alive but there a just too many skins in it with minimal details / color changes each upgrade that I’m not so sure if it’s that worth it

For the skins I think Phantom shotgunner is my go to. Out of all the skins. Phantom, shotgun, it's a unique animation. And I wanted it. Luckily it was uncommon so it's like it. I would get it pretty easily.
