And mr Aalap oh man what a play...what a play...u just brought the alrdy mindblowing bass composition to another level incorporating other bass techniques n improvisations of ur own...super flamboyant playing of the highest level...man u must hv been on a momentary trance to play this...i can see u went into another world...really any bass player must be on a doped high to play this...now i m just wondering how the scoresheet for this will look like...and if this is score is made into an advanced level bass course test item, i wonder how many students will pass...oh god i m lost for words....
Waiting to hear the bass notes bro.... thank you so much....still couldn't figure out Raja Sir could churn out the notes for an entire song withing 30-35 minutes?....Born Genius....
Hi Sreejesh, the songs from this movie " tik tik tik" from 1980 is the one the live stream audience from your channel were requesting, it world be awesome if you remastered /restored the gems from this album.
What of pleasure.. you'll have when you play BASS for any song. How many songs... Raja dedicatively worked for us..to give such music. We need more years to understand his music.
Evergreen composition from maestro his music will be here as long as humans are on this planet!! Raja sir is a music Saint came down to compose these gems!!!
at 02:45 mins.....you went out of the original bass lines in the film and mesmerized with your own creativity.......Superb......wow wow wow...just superb.....
Thanks a lot Aalaap Raju for this cover. I feel sorry sometimes that Ilayaraaja was far ahead of his time that technology was insufficient to capture his genius works and distribute to the masses. Effort like this really helps to compensate it. Thanks a lot. Keep up your great work :)
I miss Sasi sir who played this flawlessly in the original........ My all time favourite bassist is Sasi Sir....... .....aalap Raju bro nengalum vera level bro
All the right tracks for Ilayaraja for bass. One of the tracks for bass you must have is "Ilam pani thuli vizhum neram" from the film "Aaradhanai". Amazing bass so ahead of its time .
Just out of world playing by alaap raju......an apt tribute to sashidaran muniyandi bass guitarist who played the original.this brilliant score by raaja sir written in 1981.41 years......still fresh and ........what a layer of melodies with content brilliance and outstanding creativity... ..
Lovely to see a genius in his own right (arun Prakash sir) in the comments section. Arun Prakash sir is a genius in his own right. And for him to have such humility to actually appreciate a genius from another world (film music) is so lovely to see
Mindblowing bassline!!! its like it has its own melody, completely custom written for the main melody, no putting the bassline pattern in a loop, and tuning to the chord progression!!!! thanks for playing this. I am watching every video and enijoying
Extraordinary playing sir! When I hear such intricately written bass parts, I wonder if this is even possible. The bass straddles so many different worlds in this song. Outstanding playing sir! As I have said so many times it is beyond the reach of normal human beings to write such a score even if they take all the time in the world. Raaja sir wrote scores like this in 30-35 minutes. How, just how is this possible?
Raja has done a great treasure of music. But still he's quite. Steps like this only will unearthen it. Actually there's no need to give such a score for bass. But to every music instrument he's given his fullest contribution. And Sasaidharan Muniandi's work was unbelievable. No one can play like him with such passion. Thanks Aalaap Raja...for your responsibility and derivative work. Keep it up..! 👏👏👏👏👏
Firstly, this song drives me crazy each time I hear it... secondly, its bass has always sent shivers down my spine. Thirdly, dear Aalaap Raju sir, you've played the bass guitar like anything... I am awestruck. Any llayaraja fan would die to listen to this bass cover. Thank you a million times. And yes, sometimes I wonder whether he composed the song for the bass or the bass score for the song... its so perfect and meticulously written! Killer of a genius... bah!!!
I agree with you. I'm a 90's (born 16/9/1984...😄) kid who always thought Rehman Ji is superior but after listening to Aalap Raju's bass work, I have a different opinion. However, I would like to dispute the fact that it was written in minutes. Nonetheless, it was great, if not one of the greatest. On Par with Pink Floyd, Metallica many others, etc. Raja sir is definitely the Maharajah. I hope to listen to more bass work from our brother Aalap.
A highly complex bass track composed by the Maestro can lift the song's energy with its ever-changing patterns like a raging waterfall. You have recreated the magic, thereby giving an immersive feel, Sir. Fascinating playing.
As usual iam in search of equivalent words which reflect the joy fountainjng from my heart when hear Raja sir's exclusive bass lines through Alap bro's playing.
Awesome...awesome..awesome 3:03 to 3:20, anyways thought it was human morphed voice electronically, is it really created with bass guitar in original track
At least Once a day for the past 4 months, I have listened to this cover before sleep... Phenomenal!! Both God's composition, and your inspiring cover - my Unwinding Pill.. pure bliss!! Thanks so much
Aalaap ji❤❤.. U know, am addicted to ur videos 🥰🥰.. I have never been dis much crazy on anything ever before ( except IR music) 💞💕.. U r making me feel better all the time 💘💘.. Thanks a lot 🌹🌹

Nothing but amazing. Hats off to IR sir for composing this music . Hats off to you for reproducing it perfectly. Janaki Amma’s voice is awesome as usual.
