Thanks, this i found very helpful because I have and orange version of that game device and it wasn’t charging and I thought it was the cord but it wasn’t so I searched up on UA-cam how to fix this problem and I couldn’t find how to fix it until I scrolled down far and found this video. This is the only video that actually shows you what the problem is and how to fix it. Thank you so now I can actually play my game now with out it being plugged into the wall. Thank you again. 😀:)
So I tried this method and it didn't seem to work. I looked at the box and it said it was the sega mega drive gopher, and I compared my old battery to your old battery, and my model number is NP 60-2JYQ which is similar but not exact. It also had 800 mAh instead of 750 mAh
MAGREG'S no, I eventually gave up trying to figure out what was wrong with the mega drive. I did drop it a bunch of times too so I’m not sure if it was a battery problem or just a hardware problem.
