I like him a lot - great guy. But i wish he would just tell the story and stop referencing every word he says in the Bible. We believe you. Over referencing detracts from the power of the experience and diminishes the impact for people who may not be connected to Scripture.

Hell is a real place n the reason why Jesus came to earth to save our souls from going to hell. What we need to do about it? We need to repent, be born again n live right for the Lord. Jesus is coming soon.

I have to call him out on the repent in hell part. The parable he talked about earlier about the Rich man and Lazarus the Rich man was trying to repent in hell. I believe everyone in hell is full of regret and would give anything for a chance to repent
I see no contradiction from Bill's example. Regret is still futile because in Abraham's own words, "there exists a [significant] chasm" that prevents any movement between the two places. One's regret is therefore of no use. You are too late. The warning not to end up in hell remains in situ.
I also feel that words are inadequate to express certain concepts to our limited minds. May God have mercy on us all. Truly no one will brag about having "made it."

I also don't see how his expressive inadequacy on this subject (for lack of a better phrase or term), detracts from the gist of hell's reality. That's my point. Iam very impressed at your sermon. To be honest' I had seen two church members experience God's works before they went to the Lord One man had been told that he was hopeless with cancer but the Lord brought him up to life' but the other man he experienced heaven before he went to the Lord.
At first, Bill gave me a weird vibe, idk why he just seemed off. But after spending a little time listening to him I came to realize how genuine he is for God, and it really helps me to never judge someone for the way they may look or speak.

@@frank2185 At least I know that "hell" is not a biblical word at all. This imported word has in bible translations replaced as well "sheol" and "gehenna". Sheol refers to the grave and gehenna to the lake of fire. So: death and the grave were cast into the lake of fire. Grave is a place for the dead, and not a hell. Lake of fire is the second death, and the final death. And it's eternal. From the second death there is no more resurrection.
Can i ask you though? Bill says Hell is forever but in revelations 20:13 it says that Hell will deliver out all its people and that Hell itself will be cast into the lake of fire. It says after that whoever's name was not written in the book of life was cast in as well but that doesn't men they all get cast in does it?

I also can't see how what you said in the second part of your comment matches scripture either. You said...... Because it doesn't match what I'm reading in Rev 20:13 it doesn't say the people get judged by their deeds/conscience or whether they accepted Jesus or not, it says...... "and they were judged every man according to their works." It also does not give the outcome of the judgement to say that each and every individual goes straight into the lake of fire. It says that those that weren't written in the book of life get thrown in - that doesn't mean they all get thrown in if it did why didn't it just say that? Notice it also says Death aswell as Hell gave up the dead which were in it. So it's not just the people in Hell that get this judgement of God its Death aswell. So death is also a place. So not all the people that didn't get saved are in Hell they are also in a place called Death. THIS IS WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS GO TO REV 20:13:14 AND YOU'LL SEE IT. I'm not trying to be a troll or anything but I am just going by what scripture says and I just can't see how it matches what Bill says. Hell is very real. What you he talked about is about the second death as spirits. That’s it’s worst. Denying the existence of Gehenna(hell) and Sheol(purgatory). Won’t save you if you die on sin. Nothing can get dirty at heavens.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Does therefore hell and death exist once it is cast into the lake of Fire?
Real life is more serious and scary than the worst horror movie, for the majority of humans who will be lost forever (and yet most of them don't have a clue about what is waiting for them after death...a true horror!). We have so much responsibility to tell others about Jesus, and what they have to do to escape hell fire damnation.
Before I was saved, I had no fear of Hell because I didn't believe it existed. When I came to know Jesus and the Bible were real and therefore heaven and hell were real then and only then did I begin to believe in heaven and hell.
@@annaswain1809 yes same here, very true! However, before believing in God, one usually have a fear of dying.. a fear of the unknown, of ceasing to exist. Upon finding God, this fear of the unknown and of dying is taken away - - if one knows your destiny is heaven. But yes of course, one gains a fear of God (healthy), and a desire to please him, and fearing hell. I think this is normal.
The Bible teaches that Hell isn’t eternal. Hell is where Satan and his angels and those who died in sin will be destroyed. Only those that are saved will have immortality. For the wages of sin is death. Also, no one goes to Heaven until the resurrection. Then after a thousand years those who died in Sin will be resurrected and judged. Then they will be destroyed in the lake of fire. We need to stop preaching that people will spend eternity in Hell. That’s not Biblical. We need to stop preaching that after death we go to heaven or hell. That isn’t Biblical either. The dead know nothing. They sleep in the grave. If we were already in heaven we wouldn’t need to be resurrected.
Minute 26. When all the elements melt then what you have left is a lake of fire. hell, Sheol, Tartarus will all fall there as well. And from His throne waters will pour down and a new heaven and earth will be established. But underneath there will still be that lake. You can’t comprehend this if you still believe we live on a ball.

Torment, as in mental anguish. It is a miserable psychological effect opposite of what our life experience can be like. It can be peaceful, joyful, blissful, exhilarating, enrapturing, and prospering. We degrade physically and psychologically over time if we choose to live unrighteously leading to insanity and/or depravity.
Where does it says in the Bible that God is such a failed loser that He cannot fix and humble down proud sinners? I know several passages where God says that proud ones WILL be humbled down, that the filth in them will be cleansed with His wrath, no place do i know where God says He is too weak to cleanse and change sinners behavior.

Yet the Bible speaks about fire and brimstone? That sounds very physical. I know some says it is the absence of Gods active presence. On earth, we have Gods presence as it says it rains on the righteous and unrighteous. With the rich man and Lazarus - the rich man in Sheol was constantly thirsty and it dreaded him terrific. Now, i know he was not in hell yet. But that is the affect of God not letting it rain - spiritual - in that place. Our spirit drinks from God. Here, there is no drinking. So how does someone burn in hell? Is it that. Or is there a fire after these lost souls received a body? How does the devil and his cahoonas burn, if they are spirit?

Just a glimer of hope from Gods mercy is perhaps at the end of the1000 yrs some maybe saved from the final jugement and thats one of the reasons for this 1000 yrs of reign but i wouldnt bank on it !?
Hell is ridiculous. Even the pope said hell was a mythical place. Here is his exact quote: “They are not punished. Those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and take their place among the ranks of those who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot be forgiven disappear. A hell doesn’t exist, the disappearance of sinning souls exists.” If you are catholic and you believe the pope is ordained by God, this should mean something to you.
Actually hell IS temporal up until the 'final trial' (Or The Great White Throne Judgement) THEN there's the Lake of Fire; MOST Christians think that these 2 (Hell and the Lake of Fire) r 1 in same when they're ABSOLUTELY NOT; Rev 20:13 in comparison, hell is equivalent 2 ur local county jail and 'The FIREY Lake' is simply the GREAT PENITENTIARY!
Jesus was crystal clear about the punishment of the wicked... If this doesn't like to some people, it's their problem.. I don't know if hell is literal or metaphorical, but the torment physical or mental for the condemned, is certain... Since in life the best are rewarded and the criminals are punished, so in afterlife happens the same.. As above, so below.
By works Who’s works is the Bible describing “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV And not of yourselves - this means our own efforts outside the faith commandments of the Law of Liberty. In other words - giving charity in your name, doing good works in your name. All the efforts and deeds don’t represent Christ, the blood covenant, or the body of Christ. Who you are representing is you? This is why God finished the scripture by saying “not of works, lest anyone should boast.” This person is not a part of the faith works God is commanding in the book of James. He this person is doing all by his own effort! This is not biblical, rather personal and will not get you to heaven! Praise Jesus By our works He knows us… James

I have a question. I'm pretty sure the bible says that God knows us before we are even born. If he's all knowing he will know that some of us are bound for hell before we are born. Why would he let us to be born to begin with? Not only that , but there's probably a few thousand religions on earth and people are subjected to them according to where they are born at. Why should people choose one over another?
I don't even know why would a loving God even create hell specifically for Lucifer when he already know that Lucifer was going to fall an became the most evil. why would I created a place to burn someone if I already know his action before he even born.i hope you find your answer but I doubt it exists
You are correct in that "while you were yet in your mother's womb [God] knew you." However, for you life, God has given you the choice of life or death that you would choose for yourself. God is outside the equation of your choice, that is all up to you and all on you. Now, having said that, God DOES know your heart and knows when you reach the point of no return (He will send many, many warnings your way before that), a good example of this is in Exodus where Moses and Pharaoh are having their back and forth. God allows Pharaoh to choose, which he does, but eventually Pharaoh's heart begins to harden and God hands him over this hardening of the heart. Even though Pharaoh had long since turned his heart from God, God still tried to reach out to him. When he refused, God simply used Pharaoh to demonstrate His power, His authority, and His miracles (leading the Israelites out of Egypt). Hope that helps my friend.

Nice story, but, so what? Where would his sacrifice be? Ours is through the shed blood of Christ who took on human form and paid our due penalty. It is not merely repentance that offers you forgiveness, rather the sacrifice plus your repentance equals forgiveness. This concept is beyond the angelic beings and heavenly hosts. But again, the devil and the demons who followed after his ill-fated plot have no sacrifice for their "sin", Jesus did not take on an angelic form and pay their due penalty, He couldn't. When Lucifer rebelled against God, he made the mistake of awakening the wrath of God. I do not believe it was a bam-bam play. I believe God was patient with his favorite angel and probably gave him warnings that he was on a path of absolute destruction. Lucifer would not relent, he was "hell-bent" to ascend above the stars of God and to be like the Most High. He failed. Miserably. He had a chance, a slim one, but one nonetheless. However, when Jesus walked out of the tomb alive forevermore the devil was unequivocally and forever defeated. There will still be battles, but the war ended upon the Resurrection. Can you understand the answer?

I have to call him out on the repent in hell part. The parable he talked about earlier about the Rich man and Lazarus the Rich man was trying to repent in hell. I believe everyone in hell is full of regret and would give anything for a chance to repent
I see no contradiction from Bill's example. Regret is still futile because in Abraham's own words, "there exists a [significant] chasm" that prevents any movement between the two places. One's regret is therefore of no use. You are too late. The warning not to end up in hell remains in situ.
I also feel that words are inadequate to express certain concepts to our limited minds. May God have mercy on us all. Truly no one will brag about having "made it."

At least I know that "hell" is not a biblical word at all. This imported word has in bible translations replaced as well "sheol" and "gehenna". Sheol refers to the grave and gehenna to the lake of fire.
So: death and the grave were cast into the lake of fire. Grave is a place for the dead, and not a hell. Lake of fire is the second death, and the final death. And it's eternal. From the second death there is no more resurrection.

Is that exact scripture words? Because it doesn't match what I'm reading in Rev 20:13 it doesn't say the people get judged by their deeds/conscience or whether they accepted Jesus or not, it says...... "and they were judged every man according to their works."
It also does not give the outcome of the judgement to say that each and every individual goes straight into the lake of fire. It says that those that weren't written in the book of life get thrown in - that doesn't mean they all get thrown in if it did why didn't it just say that?
Notice it also says Death aswell as Hell gave up the dead which were in it. So it's not just the people in Hell that get this judgement of God its Death aswell. So death is also a place. So not all the people that didn't get saved are in Hell they are also in a place called Death. THIS IS WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS GO TO REV 20:13:14 AND YOU'LL SEE IT.

The Bible teaches that Hell isn’t eternal. Hell is where Satan and his angels and those who died in sin will be destroyed. Only those that are saved will have immortality. For the wages of sin is death.
Also, no one goes to Heaven until the resurrection. Then after a thousand years those who died in Sin will be resurrected and judged. Then they will be destroyed in the lake of fire.

On earth, we have Gods presence as it says it rains on the righteous and unrighteous. With the rich man and Lazarus - the rich man in Sheol was constantly thirsty and it dreaded him terrific. Now, i know he was not in hell yet. But that is the affect of God not letting it rain - spiritual - in that place. Our spirit drinks from God. Here, there is no drinking.

Hell is ridiculous. Even the pope said hell was a mythical place. Here is his exact quote: “They are not punished. Those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and take their place among the ranks of those who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot be forgiven disappear. A hell doesn’t exist, the disappearance of sinning souls exists.” If you are catholic and you believe the pope is ordained by God, this should mean something to you.

I don't know if hell is literal or metaphorical, but the torment physical or mental for the condemned, is certain... I have a question. I'm pretty sure the bible says that God knows us before we are even born. If he's all knowing he will know that some of us are bound for hell before we are born. Why would he let us to be born to begin with? Not only that , but there's probably a few thousand religions on earth and people are subjected to them according to where they are born at. Why should people choose one over another?

You are correct in that "while you were yet in your mother's womb [God] knew you." However, for you life, God has given you the choice of life or death that you would choose for yourself. God is outside the equation of your choice, that is all up to you and all on you. Now, having said that, God DOES know your heart and knows when you reach the point of no return (He will send many, many warnings your way before that), a good example of this is in Exodus where Moses and Pharaoh are having their back and forth. God allows Pharaoh to choose, which he does, but eventually Pharaoh's heart begins to harden and God hands him over this hardening of the heart. Even though Pharaoh had long since turned his heart from God, God still tried to reach out to him. When he refused, God simply used Pharaoh to demonstrate His power, His authority, and His miracles (leading the Israelites out of Egypt). Hope that helps my friend.

Nice story, but, so what? Where would his sacrifice be? Ours is through the shed blood of Christ who took on human form and paid our due penalty. It is not merely repentance that offers you forgiveness, rather the sacrifice plus your repentance equals forgiveness. This concept is beyond the angelic beings and heavenly hosts. Lucifer was there, he was in the presence and glory of God. If anyone should have known better he would be the poster boy for rebellion. But again, the devil and the demons who followed after his ill-fated plot have no sacrifice for their "sin", Jesus did not take on an angelic form and pay their due penalty, He couldn't. Their due penalty is eternal damnation and torment in the lake of fire. No hope of escape. No hope of salvation. No hope of deliverance. When Lucifer rebelled against God, he made the mistake of awakening the wrath of God. I do not believe it was a bam-bam play. I believe God was patient with his favorite angel and probably gave him warnings that he was on a path of absolute destruction. Lucifer would not relent, he was "hell-bent" to ascend above the stars of God and to be like the Most High. He failed. Miserably. He had a chance, a slim one, but one nonetheless. However, when Jesus walked out of the tomb alive forevermore the devil was unequivocally and forever defeated. There will still be battles, but the war ended upon the Resurrection. Can you understand the answer?

You're thinking of death as termination; try thinking instead as death is a separation. The first one you experience will be the separation of your spirit from your body, the second death will be the separation of your spirit from God.

Whenever you read "...then Jesus said...." that is the same thing as "...then God said...". The Bible teaches one God is the maker of all, if you don't believe that Jesus is God, then my God made yours.

God is infinitely greater but also infinitely more merciful. If the supreme justness of God should result in endless torture, perhaps we should start torturing those who do wrong to us.
