Hi, request you to please tell the survival rates or duration. My mom is 72 year old and has 4 stage renal cancer and she is taking this medicine from more than one year now. She gets some side effects like burning sensation in hands and feet, hair loss, vomiting and blisters on tongue. She is taking it along with heart related medicines.
Average survival in stage 4 RCC is excellent, most patients live more than 5 years if they can access both targeted therapy and immunotherapy.

Sir, my father has been taking osimertinib 80 mg since last 4 months. He is suffering from NSCLC adrenal met. Recently he had massive pleural effusion in the left side of lung ( same side as that of tumor). Does it indicate he is osimertinib resistant now?

@@Vineettiwari24 My father has expired 6 months ago. He has massive pleural effusion in left lung twice. then Pleurodesis was performed and Sample was sent for NGS testing. Thereafter he had malignant pericardial effusion and finally left us. NGS report arrived on the day when he expired. My advice to you from my experience .
1. Perform NGS testing if not done.
2. Perform regular Echo and ECG and always monitor bp and heart rate.

Yes NGS testing have been done.
It was EGFR mutation NSCLC, so Doctor has advised him to go targeted therapy by taking Osimertinib 80mg.

Sir my father suffering from Lung Cancer Andicarcinoma.... 3 Chemotherapy have been given then EGFR test was done which came out to be positive then for 1 month Gefitinib tablet was given then due to less counts of CBC... gefitinib was stopped and Osimertinib tablet started for 3 months... My father had taken it continually and was seen improvement but now again he is unwell and doctor suggested that the tablet is resistive hence again 2 Chemotherapy were given to him. So weather the tablets will be started again or not... and can we go for Immunotherapy.

If osimertinib has failed you will have to take chemotherapy. DNA testing can be done to check for special mutations (some combination drug trials are also available). Reach out to us using links in video description.

For T-cell lymphoma unfortunately targeted therapy is not available at present in India but it can be imported for some types of T-cell NHL
