I don't understand why Korean guys don't seem to like this group. These ladies are gorgeous. I could see the teen boys watching younger girl groups, but where are the guys in their 20's? I hope they aren't still chasing teen girls.
Quite late but I think most of the haters are the younger audience. Seem to me like korean Leggos are around 20's and they actually have a good ratio of male/female audience.
I’m coming back after 2 years to say that this song is so superior for a girl group; this style was such different from what was coming out during that time and even know. A true bop
yeah when this song was released, i didnt really pay much attention to the music quality but after 3 YEARS, listening again and i must say "Night Rather Than Day" is truely one of the most unique kpop girlgroup songs ive ever known.
It's sad because that difference makes the song receive little attention, EXID's music is often different from other K-pop songs at the same time. If the song doesn't suit Koreans and doesn't get their attention, it won't get too much attention in the long term in the international music, even though the song is really good. . EXID is a victim of that: Night Rather Than Day, Lady, I Love You are examples.. Good music but views or popularity don't match.

Hyelin's vocals are sooooo underrated. She gets overshadowed by Solji, but so does the majority of kpop singers. On her own, she can be the lead vocalist on a lot of groups. Her personality and concept are too goofy to take her singing seriously, but when she's seriously singing, she's no joke.
During this era, Hyelin definitely grew into her voice & it got so much stronger. Shes improved so much, I love Solji & her voice. But I'm glad Hyelin & even Hani was able to shine

Honestly, I keep checking the charts and I get happy when they go up and super sad when they drop... But I think I've come to the conclusion that charting doesn't matter to me anymore. I mainly listen metal (lol) gfriend, snsd, one or another of red velvet, momoland, black pink, bts, bol4, etc. It's so sad that the group is almost disbanded. But i kinda understand why she didnt get a whole chorus of powerful vocal.. her voice isnt very stable when dancing so it will be difficult on live stages. This song is very different from their usual because they had to adjust it with the remaining members' range.

They're not as underrated as you might think. Sure the views aren't as high but those doesn't define their popularity. In March 2021, they literally rank 20 on brand reputation amongst other active girl groups and they haven't even made a comeback for years 💖 EXID ARE QUEENS

Raksmey Han she practices a lot 😭👏😍 Hyerin has a vibe of "work hard and let success be your noise" to me. She's funny, charming but maybe her way is not recognized and appreciated as other members and other idols in general. She said people just know her as the short hair girl in EXID which is truly sad bc I can see that she loves singing and always tries her best for every song. But our Hyerin is appreciated now.

SK stopped sleeping on EXID when Up and Down came out w/ Hani's fancam (note: the song + MV went SUPER viral), that's kinda what saved the group from disbanding. It's depressing that this song isn't charting well though, it's a great vibe.
Yeah, weird, I like this better than most of their stuff and I like most of their stuff! Songs that do well on YT are not always the same ones that do well on SK charts that is for sure. But, you can be sure that this will chart a lot higher on the M Countdown Chart than it does on for example instiz ichart.

Marcella Sofea I think it's best in a way that the vocals of each member really shows off because of Solji's hiatus. So yeah.
