Wow, as a former bench jeweler, I found this video very informative. If I had the tools, I would definitely be able to follow your tutorial and make one of those. Great video!
I just started the video to have quick glance at the copper bracelet, but the intro music drew me in, and your presentation and explanations kept me watching the whole video. Great work and great video!

Very cool,I learned ALOT . Great Info IMO......Rather Long video....but informative for a beginner as me lol....I'm gonna be gettin into this homemade jewelry stuff and some pours as well. Thanks
Can brass/brazing rod be used? Interested in how the contrast would look. Very nice video/info. Easy to understand. And I can stress this enough....thank you for providing useful camera angles and zoom. Awesome
I've learned, to get a uniform twist in your multiple wires, figure how long you want each strand to be, get that much wire for how many strands and how many sections you want, twist it all in one go, then cut to length, uniformity is best that way. And it makes the end product look that much better
I was not thrilled with 14+ ads that I had to watch to see this video (I suppose it's the price of "free" LOL!).😟 HOWEVER, it was an EXCELLENT TUTORIAL and demonstration 👍 and you did a great job explaining some of the things I wish had been explained to me when I first started making jewelry. I was wondering though if there would be less waste if the holes on your twister jig were closer together or would that not produce the best twisted result? Just curious before I give it a try. 🙂 Anyway, again... very good tutorial! 👍 Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
i just looked up keiga wire cutters and they are now discontinued by the manufacturers. might be able to buy off of riogrande or somewhere like that. it figures the good stuff gets discontinued. good video. keep up the good work,
Technically, a compass is a drafting instrument that has one pen or pencil point and one sharp point that is positioned at the center of the circle to be described, while a divider, on the other hand, has two sharp points, one for the center and the other for scribing or marking.

It isn't something I've used for jewelry but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Bonito trabajo
Perfektná práca....👍👍👍🌲🌳
What kind of solder do you use for copper? Wouldn't silver solder leave a silver line at the joint?
copper solder. www.flatwearable.com
Jus wondering y you pickle pot after annealing not most do it that way was trying to figure out the difference. Thank you
Annealing creates fire scale which needs to be removed.
First of all I loved your video, secondly what solder do you use and how do you stop the copper from tarnishing.
I use both silver solder and copper solder. We sell several types on our website. www.flatwearable.net/home/soldering-station/

@@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry how cool ! Wish is was wire instead of pallions but I'll get some in time. Thanks !
Can you use a hand crank with a chuck and a chuck holding the wires in the vise?
So long as you can keep the wires taught that should work.

great video....do you ever do a 10 foot or so copper strand at once?
You wouldn't get an even twist from end to end.
just to make sure. the sader is the same as you would use on sterling right?
Easy silver solder would work fine
Could you use dead soft wire?
absolutely
Live wire would be shocking.
Yes
TYVM for the lesson on soldering! I currently use a little hot iron, as I only do jump rings at this time.
What size hole are you putting in the disc? Do you need different size holes for different size wires?
1/8". You can drill any size holes you would like.
Isn't it a compass? Or do others call it a divider???
Technically, a compass is a drafting instrument that has one pen or pencil point and one sharp point that is positioned at the center of the circle to be described, while a divider, on the other hand, has two sharp points, one for the center and the other for scribing or marking.
When you annealed the twisted wire, did you roll it into a bundle as before? TY!!! Great video!
Yes I did
Can these bracelets be purchased?
Check our Facebook page for how you can purchase jewelry made by Suzanne. facebook.com/FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
what size holes did you drill?
About 4mm
What type of pickling pot ??
A small crock pot from a thrift store
would be faster to use wood with a 3 inch hole saw
I do believe her theme song should be Ray Stevens, “Power Tools.”
I used bullet ends on one.. made it for a male customer, he didnt buy it. and too big for me to wear. will make another one, for myseef now...
40:05 What is this?

@@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry How do you connect copper? What's in the box labeled "H"?

Nice tut, I think. Didn’t make it to the end, though. The amount of commercials is just rude. Dim it, girl!
We have no control over the amount of ads shown.
