They who trust in the Lord shall never be put to shame. I just love how she kept saying God God in her interview. She worked hard for this and she got it. Congratulations girl! You’ve mad history ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you true Omoluwabi, you helped make those that see Nigeria a nation of negativity, that there are very many honest, hard working and patriotic one out there. God bless you and God bless your career. I WAS IN PROFUSE TEARS OF JOY FOR YOU, FOR NIGERIA, FOR AFRICA AND ALL BLACK RACE. We are VERY PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENT
the crazy thing is that Tobi ALWAYS had a great start!! She had a big false start back in 2018 Diamond League, so she reserved more in the starts!! But now she has her rythm and the sky is just the beginning for her!!
She's been so good and performed consistently great in this events for some years now. It was a matter of time and I am personally happy for her. Congratulations OLUWATOBILOBA (God is a great King) AMUSAN
Let me tell you the reason a country as big as Nigeria doesn't have more athletes and generally sportsmen and women even though we have a lot of talent. It isn't supported in the grassroot. For example, in things like the NUGA games, you have your professors and doctors asking you "if that is the primary reason your parents sent you to school" a very negative place for churning out sports talent. When you find people like this, they need to be celebrated fiercely because these were the ones that did it against all odds.
unfortunately Nigeria as a country and as a government mostly exists to frustrate the dreams and talent of Nigerian people. Nigeria has close the 300 million people. Jamaica has 3 million. The Jamaicans that are winning so many gold medals are mostly of Nigerian and Ghanaian ancestry, but the difference is they don't have to fight their own government just to survive, and they have the coaching and athletic facilities to create an environment where talent can be nurtured to flourish.
Scattered across the globe. If you literally see the names of young up & coming athletes with either Naija blood or names representing other countries in track & field or even other sports like American football, football & basketball you would be amazed
Even there are a good amount of them representing other countries & be amongst the top in their events. Take Salwa Eid Naser for example, she is half Nigerian & was brought up in Nigeria but ended up representing Bahrain. At the last World Championships, ran 48.14 which is at minimum top 5 of all time over 400m and won the gold
Proud of you Tobi, loved the fact that you are raising the banner of Christ and the flag of Nigeria higher.. The Labour of our hero's past shall never be in vain..
Congrats to all Nigerian contingent. Amazing and God Bless all of you! Happy for your success. World Championships was so great to see all the diversity and beauty of all countries represented. High hurdles is a crazy event. Technical, fast and requiring such focus. Great job!
You're now in the history books forever my dear sister Oluwatobi Amusan! My fellow Ogun state indigene, omo olu abi. I wish I could celebrate with you. God is proud of you
Nigeria is indeed on the cusp for change. On the eve of an election year in which Nigerian youths are mobilizing in an unprecedented manner for a revolution to unseat a clueless gerontocracy that has plundered and plunged the country into the world's poverty capital, Amosun's watershed World Athletics championship win is a major inspiration to the Nigerian youths that victory in their ongoing revolution to install the youthful Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is possible - if they continue to believe, like Amosun did in her hurdles event. Congratulations to Amosun
@@tayokarate @tayokarate You call a people's struggle to break the deadly chokehold of a ruthless, corrupt political Mafia, which the world has never seen it's kind in history, politics? How can you be this heartless? It is like calling the former anti-apartheid struggle politics. Or the struggle to free Ukraine from Russia's genocide, politics?

They even robbed that hardworking girl, her 12.06 sec record is legal and ought to have stood. They just looked for wind by all means to stop her because they knew that 12.06 sec would stand for another 50 years and an African country holding that would be too hard for them to bear. Amusan should pray hard because those racists including the World Athletics CEO, will do anything to find any foreign substance in her blood just to taint her achievement and demoralize her from breaking her own record because it is clear that she is full of confidence at the moment. Congratulations to Tobi Amusan. Congratulations to Nigeria.

@@ecsamuels4142 No I wasn't. And were you there to measure the wind yourself? why didn't they use their wind shenanigans in the semi-final? She ran 12.12 with +.9 wind and ran 12.06 with +2.5 wind.
