Yay I reached 200! Thanks to everyone who made me reach this goal~ *About the song:* yes it's a bit slowed down (about 115bpm vs about 128 of the Animenz official), and there has been some midi editing (as with every song I've uploaded recently) but the video isn't sped up, and I needed to slow down to get every note with enough interpretation Feel free to join my newly made server discord.gg/34ghcWZpMj for some music related and random convos~
I’ve noticed that almost every person covering Animenz rushes and sacrifices accuracy for speed. I cant tell you how refreshing it is to see somebody slow it down a bit to play it precisely. Beautifully played. This is far more impressive and enjoyable to listen to. Much respect.
Playing it at a slower tempo where everything is crystal clear is 1000x better than rushing and hitting lots of inaccuracies. This is the best cover of animenz's I've heard so far. Well done
Obviously very skilled. But I’m most impressed by the fact that this was performed on a shaky keyboard, with loose pedal. I didn’t believe you could do serious playing on one of these.
Really nice performance. It’s always interesting to hear a different variant of something that already exists. Being slowed down doesn’t made it sound bad at all.
Thanks man! I really should take suggestions on which Animenz piece to learn after... I really like Bloody Stream and Cry Baby, hopefully a bit more possible than the other in his hardest 10 playlist lol
Wow very good, this is a seriously hard arrangement. Only thing I'd say is the part with the three hand technique after the first chorus should be more staccato, animenz barely uses any pedal for that section
As mentionned, the slowed down tempo was a very intelligent choice. Slowed down and beautifully played (like here) > og tempo but lots of mistakes and rushing. Good one! I think this is my first time watching one of your videos and the quality is very respectable! (btw what piano is that? how's the key action?)
Thanks! Hope to progress to further goals, btw the piano is a yamaha CP4, really nice keyboard and really customizable sounds, pretty nice for live without vsts too
I greatly appreciate hearing you play it at a slightly slower tempo, because your phrasing and accuracy were remarkable. I would take this over a more scuffed faster tempo version any day, this sounds remarkably similar to Animenz's own performance. Also, what VST are you using? It sounds very close to Animenz's audio
YOOO YOU HIT 500 DOOD!!!! Well deserved!:)) Keep up the good stuff! _Also love the stuff you've put into the drive so far!!_ 🙏😌 And ofc this fantastic take on this arr 😄
Damn this is really clean. Love your piano sound too, really nice work! Thought this was the first time watching one of your videos but it seems I've watched your dxd covers before AHAHA
Thanks! Tbf I have an upright too for comparison and the shakiness of the keyboard isn't that much of a problem unless you repeatedly octave-slide up and down from a black key to a white key (in that case it's hard to keep it stable enough)
Fabulous skills and a brilliant performance. It is a real pleasure to see and listen your way of expression. Best wishes from your new subscriber and piano friend. Cheers Jan
Woah that was amazing and so clean! I reaallyy like that you played it slower than Animenz because your playing is sooo accurate and doesn't sound rushed at all. Great job!!!
Maaaan you're so talented!!!! This is one of his most recent arragements and you managed to do it perfectly, you have my respects hehe (and a new sub :D)
You play really well, this is an awesome cover :D Super clean like everyone else has been saying. Looking forward to more piano covers, can't believe I didn't find you sooner xD
One of the best performances that I've heard of Animenz' arrangement. Such a nice tempo and the articulation of each note was great. What I really enjoyed was the crispness of the arpeggios and how you didn't drown out the melody with the left hand (was it to do with the pedalling?) and how long did it take you to learn? Amazing all around
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it! I usually spend a lot of time for dynamics and my focus, as you noticed, is mainly to make following the melody as easy as possible (so lowering the left hand dynamics and working on 3-hands technique dynamics too). I started learning as soon as Animenz published the sheets so around 3 weeks but I practiced quite a lot everyday
Wow this is insaneeee!! Even if it’s slightly slower than the original. do you have the midi file of ur performance? I cant find one yet. I would appreciate it a ton!
Thanks! I'm really sorry but I can't share the midi file as anyone could import it to synthesia (maybe not that problematic for this song but it is for my other arrangements), but if you want to learn it on synthesia I can point you to great synthesia transcriptions :)
Your playing never fails to amaze as always! That's also some quick learning and very accurate playing, it still gives me the somewhat lonely feeling that i felt from the original song. and last but not least, congratulations on reaching your 207th subscriber!!!
Thanks! The tips I could give are find the fingerings you want to use when practicing slowly, not when struggling to speed up, then find the best fingerings for you, I found that in this piece in section B Animenz does the tenth line all with the left hand, but for me it's easier to divide it with left and right. Then the obvious *practice slowly with a metronome, first with single hand, and then speed up*. Good luck :)

@@WikiBidoz also could I ask if you believe it’s better to learn the piece one section at a time, or to sight read the whole piece at once and bring it up to speed as a whole?
Oh I'd go for one or a few sections at a time, build up the tempo up to a decent one then practice the full piece, and if you find some sections are harder to get to the right tempo practice them singularly again
Woow man, you did the animenz version really sooner, that's incredible!!, congrats on the song and getting 200 subs 🔥, btw wiki, are you still practicing the unravel one?
Thanks i practiced a lot these weeks lol. Btw for unravel I think I'm ok with the speed I already played it, from there the curve of learning gets very steep and I don't have much time to practice older songs more than I've already done. Definitely will revisit it if I need to play it somewhere live :)
@@WikiBidoz ooh okok I got you, I'm loving that you're uploading videos this frequently tho, thanks for your effort, you deserve this support and so much more
