Wow. words cannot express how much your playing moved me. Brought me back to 18 years old, riding my banana bike, learning guitar, first girlfriend, New England neighborhood. Lot's of old victorian homes. Catholic girls, running track, lobstering...Thanks! Mt

Wow, what a nice comment. Please forgive me for not getting back to you sooner. I don't have my notifications setup properly on UA-cam, and I've missed a lot of comments. As you noticed, I never really intended to create a UA-cam channel... these are specific lessons for specific in-person students that I have (hence the use of their actual names in lesson videos). I suppose it's time I look into starting a real channel. I love the New England imagery you've described. When I used to listen to this song growing up, and there was a similar effect for me... just different things that pertained more to my youth in South Philadelphia. Great to hear form you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. 215-805-4353, or arnewett@gmail.com. Texting works best for me.

Terry Kath was one of the greatest guitarists of all time. He had a massive tone approach to the instrument that no other guitar player would match that. You do this beautifully. Kath deserves his recognition right now.

Do have the chords tabbed to this song?

I don’t. Would you need TAB, or is just the actual chord names okay? Do you know how to read chord diagrams?

such a great outro that should have been developed way more. perhaps the most climactic groove, vocal and guitar solo in Rock History,. this song makes me so disappointed because this huge build up for 3 minutes of boring as hell music for concert goers that was to experience musical bliss, yet very pretty arrangement, but then a wallop of raw power, swagger, all that cock rock sex, drugs and rock n roll wannabes try to achieve but never have, never to this extent in terms of an accessible arena type anthem, and then just when they find the bridge, they let it fade leaving only the experienced music lovers (guys that are not as eager to get off prematurely and expect the band to really milk it) begging for more. Awesome fleeting moment in Rock History. perhaps the best ,29 second sound bite, certainly top 10. But the duration is what ruins it. too short

1977 tour they extended the rock groove to over two min, Terry Kath was just ripping that bad ass soulfully lead thru that fuzz, phase shifter unique sound he had created, while Cetera and the band improvised the extended version masterfully. I think there are videos somewhere of this tour, highly recommend it.
