FeiyuTech Kica K2 Mini - A Runner's Review

The Kica K2 Mini is a tiny massage gun from FeiyuTech (yes, that same company that makes gimbals). It’s portable, it’s lightweight, and it’s great for those smaller muscles groups that might get overlooked when using a regular sized massage gun. But the small size also has its drawbacks: it’s louder, less powerful, and in some ways, less effective. So in this video I’ll discuss, is it worth it for runners?

UPDATE: the Kica Mini is on sale via kickstarter for $80. It still feels a bit high for how this performs, but a pretty decent value at that price.

hey ya kofuzi, bought the new beacon v3 and omg!! they are a delight, they arrived just in time before my 15k run so instantly put them on and ran!! After 6k my feet sunk nicely inside and contours were just darn perfect. Another cool feature are at the heels. When i found myself pulling back a tad the heel's sprung into action and kept me in cruise control as if to say to me "dont give up" I love these trainers dude! glad you mentioned em in your bonus of choices.

I used to scoff at percussive massage guns precisely because of 9:07, but I turned 30 this year and some time during lockdown a switch flipped for me and I've been very seriously contemplating one.

I like the size and portability. Will be a nice supplement the larger massage gun I use routinely. Perfect size for travel and the gym etc. I think I'll pull the trigger and get myself an early present.! Thanks for the review.

That thing is really cute, but I guess a trade-off between compactness and power is to be expected. That last attachment is probably something women who like facials might use, but it’s a surprising add-on if they didn’t provide an explanation in the instructions!

Battery life is a disappointing. I use my mini every day and I'm on my third week without a charge

Him saying that it's a nice and easy run @ 1:01 made me realise how far I am from being a serious runner. There is no way in hell I can run 12 kilometers with that pace! 5:41/1000m is more like my 5k race pace. LoL
