I knew a lady who taught outdoor kindergarten. Her philosophy was "there's no bad weather, just bad gear." I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US, so it rains a lot here. I'm the other person out in the weather, because I love it. It's why my home is as beautiful as it is.

I love your breakfasts: chocolate coffee and a pastry. Plus how cozy you are in almost every camp.
To cam it up properly, you need to find about 4 branches of different height and use them to push the cam net off the umbrella, thereby breaking up the regular surface. The cam net needs to be quite tight when you use the branches to lift it off the umbrella and that will cause the other end of the branches to dig into the soil. Irregular shapes are always more difficult to distinguish.

Love your videos and your positivity and honest reviews. One point I don’t understand is stealth camping, yet you cook lamb chops which can be smelled from a distance and then you have a light on advertising your position. But please keep it up, your videos are great to watch

Sounds of nature and a gsxr 1000🤔🤗...I love uploads like this just shows what you can use as a shelter and I've found (not many) but a few uploads where walkers are using a brolly either for the rain or the SUN included a tarp you've got shelter..I suppose camping the biggest pain is waking up to packing away in the rain ☔🌧️🤗....that meal looked delish 🤤👍🏴🏴🏴.....

Enjoy enjoy enjoy your youth and time to play in the outdoors. I'm 68 and loved growing up in UTAH. As a kid of 8 I'd you out for the week end. Tent, bedroll, coffee pot frying pan, fishing pole and my rifle 22LR and 410 shotgun over under rifle. Very different times back then. Rule #1 you shoot it you eat it limits what you point it at. After the farmers where pushed out. We ended up in the city. Still found places to hike and camp.

There's a basic and primative part of our survival skills that makes us feel more safe and comforted being in an enclosed area that keeps you safer and out of the elements. Memorial park here in Houston has some very beautiful real estate.
They built 2 large tunnels with park landscaping to cross the road.
While you are enjoying a picnic above the road, everyone with fart pipe exhaust is enjoying the tunnel below 🤪

That camp netting really works well. When the wind started gusting in the morning, I was sure the umbrella was going to blow away. Those lamb chops looked amazing!

Nothing better than relaxing in a tent during a nice rain. A couple times when I camped it just didn't rain, it POURED. That was really fun too.
