      @@salvagemonster3612 they said bullsharks have been found in the lake and joining river system. If there are bullsharks theres no reason that some others couldnt be there. If undisturbed and with a full and varied diet its surprising how much larger than expected some creatures can get. We dont know everything yet or all creatures and they are finding new species all the time. This sounds real to me although weather its a new species or just ones growing to supersize because of the favourable environment, but it also sounds like a shy creature who just has a little investigation of people in the water then quickly dashes away to hide. Its also probably very well fed already.

    The greenland shark has been found in the St. Lawrence waterway as well as lake illiamna I think..greenland/sleepersharks live in Artic seas and absolutely can survive in cold and frozen water..the bullshark is a warm water animal but is known to do the same. No natural predators and next to zero competition for food would allow and animal to get larger than it typically would..prime example would be the Wels catfish in the ebro..

    • @tjmarx
      @tjmarx 2 роки тому

      So, your claim is that as an annual ritual a dragon of all things would climb out of Lake Mazaska and do what exactly?
      Interestingly you never claim it ever went back into the lake. You then posit that this only happened in the "early 80's" so presumably for 5 years tops.
      And you further claim that there are photographs of this occuring in "the bars around Shieldsville". Not a blur. Not a smudge. Not something far off in the distance. Not a log or another creature. And not something difficult to determine what it is. A clear photo that demonstrates a dragon coming out of Lake Mazaska.
      Interestingly when asked directly by Myron for the name of the bars you claim have these photos you gave a red herring answer about what you think people are calling the "dragon" instead of the name of the bars.
      Interestingly, I can't find a single one of these photos online despite extensive searching. Indeed I can't find anything more than a single local paper talking about an unsubstantiated local legend. So I'm going to ask you and hope I have better luck than Myron did. Can you name a bar that has a clear photo of a dragon coming out of Lake Mazaska, isn't a drawing and isn't fake? I'd like to call them and get a copy. If you can't name such a bar we're going to have to discount your claim.
      It's also interesting the way you reacted so out of proportion to "Salvage Monster". That's some heavy deflection, transference and out childlike attempt at intimidation you were spouting there. The whole thing was entirely out of context and only makes you seem less credible.
      You have to understand, you're making an extraordinary claim about a region that no one else seems to be making and you've provided no evidence for your claim, the only evidence that can be found doesn't support your claim, you're deflecting people asking for more details and abusing anyone who challenges you.
      Do you have the name of that bar?

It looked like it was swimming at the surface I do not know for how long because I was in the car and was unable to take a picture because it was just out of the blue so fast. I did not think I was going to see something like that. Couldn't see the head because it was far away but I have been on that road for 4 years and never saw anything make a wave like that. I’m curious if this is a lake or a part of the river? Is it the widest part of the Mississippi or a lake of its own. In the video I hear terms upstream, downstream usually not used on a lake. Just wondering? I know in most large bodies of water these legends exist or water monsters or supposedly long gone extinct species that somehow still survive. If there is it wouldn’t surprise me. Many times species though long extinct have been found alive and well. Admittedly scientists say we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s been explored in the world’s oceans and large bodies of water so it’s extremely plausible that creates exist we don’t know about, most of these water monsters or cryptids if they exist have had centuries to perfect avoiding contact with humans. This is almost the same as spotting’s of megalodon Thr worlds largest great white like shark. Sasquatch, all these things witnessed by thousands of people of all walks of life yet people still deny the possibility. I believe their are people who already know and it’s a matter of time that everyone knows the truth about a lot of these mysteries that have existed for centuries, but what then when all the mystery is gone? Most likely in the next decade a lot of things people think impossible now will think differently. Anyway I’m going to try and catch a photo of Pepe and try and get that 50,000$ , lol 😂. The lake is a part of the Mississippi River that's naturally dammed by a sediment delta on its south end by the Chippewa River flowing into it out of Wisconsin near Wabasha, Minnesota. It used to extend as far upstream as St Paul, Minnesota, some 70 miles to the northwest, but has largely filled in these last 10,000 years, leaving the north end of the lake much farther downstream near Red Wing, Minnesota. Google satellite images make it pretty easy to see the historic size of the lake which was much longer than it is now.
      The original wide cut of the valley is due to Glacial Lake Agassiz discharging multiple times at the end of the last Ice Age some 12,000 years ago via The River Warren.
      Eventually the entire lake will fill in with sediment and all will be left is a channel more typical of the Mississippi.

I happened to look around and caught it out of the corner of my eye. It’s neck was stretched out and it’s tail was easily 3 feet above the water. Snap! And then it fell back to the water. I didn’t see if it got the intended target. That was Indiana lake in northern Elkhart county, Indiana. I also saw two 6-7 foot black gar fish, that were swimming in unison and I initially thought it was one fish, in the same crystal clear waters. I wonder if these creatures are some type of giant slug or worm, and that's why the shape slightly varies because it's body doesn't have a definite shape. If it's some type of heavy slug or worm, the body would be supported by the water and it would breathe water. And being predatory would keep it active. It also wouldn't need a mate if it's a hermaphrodite and can reproduce by breaking prices of itself off. To go a step further, there are some creatures that also change forms as they grow. Sometimes I wonder if some of these lake monsters are giant invertebrates. The long neck and head could be an eye stalk or an appendage of some sort.

      Yes, but most of these unknown creatures have had actual pictures taken of them long before digital took over. Plus, thousands of eye witnesses have seen them. Sure, some could be mistaken, or lying, but not all of them. People see weird things in Lakes all over the world. I don't know how, but there are strange, unknown "monsters" living in Lakes everywhere. There's too much circumstantial evidence to convince me otherwise.

    As believable a story as the solo diver is, something smells " fishy" about their retelling of the event and ensuing discussion.

    32:55 Sure, back in the day people didn't fake anything because...Photoshop! That sure makes old photographs more credible. It's just such a dumb statement coming from someone who obviously doesn't know how Photoshop works and does not work - it's not magic.

    Okay...so many testimonies ...but not one person has been killed by this so called legendary monster ? Legends blame missing people from decades ago, but that still doesn't mean those missing people were killed by a so called monster. If some people have seen it recently, how come there's no actual proof of anyone being killed by it? And it's never attacked boats either...sounds like a promotional tourist attraction for this town. Lol.
