Chanel fellow combo skin woman here. No.1 de Chanel is my favourite. I get a decent 6 hours before my oils peek out. It gives a light to medium coverage. The Ultra Le Teint is a definite medium, but on my wrinkled skin, it tends to crease as it dries. But holds up well over the day. The Velvet liquid is a stunning light-medium and does not crease. Only down side is it dries super quick, so I have to work quickly in small areas. The powder Ultra Le Teint is heavenly. I can build it up and it looks better over the day. Doesn't look cakey or crease. The Vitalumiere is very liquidy and is a skin tint. Less kind with my oils than the others. The Sublimage Martina used here is much like she mentioned. Light with a pretty satin finish. Easy for me to spply, but I get only a few hours. Wore off quickly. The Sublimage in the jar is a tad thicker, but goes oily quickly. Caught in my lines around my eyes. The CC cream is thick and too much for me. A no go. The Eau de Teint Waterfresh is my summer go to. Easy for a few hours of very light coverage. No good after 3-4 hours though. The Concealer Eau de Teint is better for coverage and longevity but emphasised my t zone pores after an hour. The Les Beiges in the jar is awesome for my shade, BO33, but leaves me a disco ball after 5 hours. A little less glowy than the No.1, but feels much the same putting it on. Healthy Glow sheer powder is ideal as a midday refresher.
I ordered the Glaminatrix palette and it’s on its way, I’m so excited! And I also have had the Dior stick foundation for several days now and I LOVE IT! It’s beautiful and natural on the skin, I’m so so happy with it ❤
Thank you for your beautiful reviews! ❤❤❤ Re Chanel sumblimage, I use the cream version in the larger pot as an under eye concealer. It's too thick for me as foundation. I do love the same Beiges foundation as you do.
Gorgeous! I just bought the Dior contour stick, could resist. I have to say that Chanel does all their foundations beautifully but mostly light to medium coverage.
Mmmmm ordered a few of glaminatrix eyeshadows to try. It will be interesting to test them. Gotta support a qld brand :). I have both sublimage foundation. Personally I think you would like the cream better for coverage but yes it is very creamy and hydrating. Get a tester of the No 1 foundation .
@@MartinaLily oh bummer , it’s a gorgeous foundation, maybe the allies of skin products will cure that for you , I’m looking forward to trying them Breonna contacted me to ship last week ❤️. I love the cream sublimage , doesn’t settle into my fine ( or deep lol ) lines .
Would love to see Dior, chantecaille, Hourglass, charlotte tilbury, there are a few Korean brands that look fun (for single shadows); also Merit but I think we can't get Merit in Australia still
Vitalumiere aqua is still my top shelf chanel foundation. Especially for when you just want a water-based foundation or are a bit meh and want a different aesthetic tothe same old same old silicone finish. Don't be fooled by the aqua! It's definitely not sheer. Solid medium. Interested to see whether you will like it
Congrats on 17.2k subscribers. You deserve it 100%. I’ve had my beauty channel for 15 years, creating beauty Contant for almost 7 years and I can’t get out of 2.5k
I’m not a skin tint person because of the sheer coverage, I like a good high medium coverage for what I need to cover, otherwise no point wearing any makeup at all
The Sublimage Serum Foundation is lovely, it’s a light sophisticated formula, reminiscent of the Les Beiges foundation, agree with you there. It took me a few uses to appreciate both. The tricks are to warm it up, work it into your brush then apply. You could consider using the Les Beiges Healthy Glow cream in rose as a base. You aren’t going for full coverage with these foundations, you’re going for spot concealing, great skin and letting your skin shine through here.
Agree abt trying Chanel No 1 foundation. The Sublimage in the pot is the one to go for. Try the About Face cream shadows for sure. Sydney Grace also has amazing colours.
Heyy Martina I'm one of your subscribers and you're my favorite makeup influencer/makeup lover girlie here I just adore your personality and content!! Just wanted to say that❤❤
Hi Martina, I am very curious about your impression about La Prairie powder. I hope you will mention if it’s good for normal to dry skin (maybe you have somebody around you with dry skin 😁). Also I would like to see a comparison between La Prairie loose powder and Sisley loose powder. 🙂 For me the Sisley concealer is very dry and Chanel Sublimage concealer is perfect. I saw the new Chanel blushes today. They are nice but heavy fragranced. For me the smell is too strong and I will skip them. Thanks for sharing!🙂
Oh yes I'll be uploading my full review on the La Prairie powder this week actually. I didn't know sisley had a loose one too so I'll check that out for sure thank you! Im the same as you with the chanel and sisley concealers too xx
That NARS lipstick is gorgeous on you!😍 I got mine in Bodyheat and didn’t like it. Might exchange it for Exposed like yours… actually I’ll go to Sephora and try it on just to make sure I like it on me. I ordered the Dior sticks and omg I’m so excited to try them! 😃
That eye look is 🔥. I’m interested in seeing you try the KVD dazzle sticks, the Kulfi single in Sitara, and Urban Decay singles. I think they seem comparable.
Yes that glaminatrix palette is awesome I love it. I bought the older Refy primer with the roller top as well as the eye balm and they eventually arrived late last week... I am still undecided on the eye balm I like it but maybe the concealer doesn't love it either that or my under eye wrinkles are too much 😅😊
@MartinaLily tried a different concealer just a touch more creamy a Charolotte one which I didn't really like on its own but it looks lovely with the eye balm so happy days... the other concealer is the Kaja one which I don't mind it is thin but definitely doesn't work with the balm on me... so yahoo it does work and my under eyes looked great all day yesterday
@nikkilarose tempted me to buy the La Mer powder too! So happy to hear you’ll have a review soon. Trust your opinion so much. Loved today’s look & congrats on 17k 🎉
Hey friend, looking gorgeous! As far as the blush from kosas. A little disappointed in the shade range. Very sheer, and not many shades to choose from if your tan, deep, dark skin tones.
My issue with such expensive luxury makeup is that it's a consumable. Like you buy a bag or shoes or whatever once. You buy a powder often, especially if you only use one. Obviously luxury bags and shoes are more expensive than the powder, but you get the gist. It's just crazy to me.
I’m curious as to your thoughts on something. Just yesterday I went to purchase something off SelfRidges, and found that my shipping had expired and I needed to renew it (I’m Australian too). I had changed my mind and not put the order though. Just now, I went to put in the order afterall and was rather shocked to see that the price of the shipping program had gone up over night from $90AUD to $160AUD, and they now require a minimum purchase of 300 Brittish pounds equivalent which as you know is around $600AUD. Selfridgegs is not longer feasible for Australians Reply
I've tried using a setting spray on my sponge and it just destroyed my base 😂 idk how you do it. I must bounce too hard hahaha (that's what she said) 😅

Oh yay I hope you like em! K I'll try the pot one for sure. I can't test the no 1 cos its got a lot of coconut in it :( xx

I loved so many of these. I ordered the Glaminatrix “Barely Basic” and the “Nocturnal Mini”. I’ll have to wait until September to see them.

Oooo that eye look girl you look amazing. I feel like I might need that Chanel liquid shadow too 😂 so pretty and I haven't tried those yet.
Aw thank you lovely!! xx
Martina, you are just lovely inside and out. Thank you!! Love you and your content! You and Blair are two of my favs. 😘

Thanks lovely! I have the KVD one in my eyeshadow stick one the other week but I'll take a look at the others xxx
I got the hourglass blush yesterday and tried it today and oh my gosh I looked liked clown cheeks it was pigmented. It however blended with the sponge
Haha yeah its more pigmented than you think hey haha xx
Right? I don't even use setting powder but Nikki makes me want that one. Plus I'm curious about a powder being so darn expensive 😂.
Hahhaa she can sell me anything honestly haha xx
Looks great Martina - I received my Lisa Eldridge lip liner and lipsticks there beautiful x
Yayy!! I hope you love them!! xx

Thank you! Yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one who is disappointed. They defs need to expand on that xx
When I doubt grab the Dior foundation stick 😀☺ that has quickly become my holy grail travel foundation
* in doubt * autocorrect 😆
Right? haha can't go wrong with it! xx
I'm not sure if you mentioned it or not but I would love to see the Dior single powder eyeshadow in " Mitzah" that metallic kind of bronze color?❤
Oh yes I have that one! so good xx
Oh yay!
I bought the Barely Basics pallet but I find it a bit intimidating to try.
Oh no really? Just start with little amounts of products to get your confidence xx
@@MartinaLily yeah I am just thinking it might look too much considering I am a mature person. Your makeup always looks so polished by the way.
I bought that Chanel liquid shadow because of u 😂 I'll let u know how I like it when it gets here. I have a list of Martina recs LoL
Haha I love this! Thank you and let me know what you think xx

Yeah I get that for sure. Although this one has double the amount in it than most so it would last awhile but defs that long for the price haha xx
