    This has been the muscle I have working on most since the start of the year. Accepting that so much of my anxiety was coming from my not being present allowed me to embrace the challenge to add this muscle to my regular “wellness” routine. It has been as challenging as building my physical muscles but the payoff has also been greater! I feel so empowered and proud of how far I’ve come. It encourages me to keep it up 😉

    Nicole thank you. You are changing my life. I started future self journaling only 3 days ago but I can tell you that I recognized how much I was on auto pilot and how resistant my old programming is. But Ive fulfilled every single day and fulfilled what I said I was gonna do. It is amazing. I feel like things will change fast and for good! I’ve been on therapy for 6 months now and to be honest this works faster 😂 or maybe I am ready. Can’t say my therapy was bad, it’s been very healing.

    I love this video. well done! If anyone ever read the book "The power of now" this is exactly what she talks about. One thing that I will always keep in my thoughts is this...."the mind could never identify the present" It always wants to think about either the past or future events.

    I was the biggest cynic/naysayer regarding meditation, thinking it was just some weird woo-woo stuff. But I was going through a tough time in my life & decided to give it a try for a week. I am not kidding when I say it completely changed my life. I started ot just a year ago & wish I had been open to trying it sooner. Calm is a great app if you are looking for somewhere to start.
    Thanks for describing all the wonderful benefits.

    Thank you for your work! I have been practicing mindfulness meditation for some time now and recently read your work regarding the ego and our subconscious minds on instagram. Now being aware of this, bringing conscious awareness of this has made such a difference! I know it will take time for me to reprogram childhood and autopilot patterns consciously, none the less grateful for having seen this and being aware through what you have shared. Thank you.

    Hi, thank you for the great work you are sharing. I am triggering really bad with what you were talking about in the ego video and the boundaries video. I have lived unconsciously my adult life and have been meditating and journaling, tapping, positive intentions for the last 8 months. I am very consistent and having some good results. I also trigger my daughter and she has put boundaries up which of course trigger me into a freaking emotional mess. It is not all the time, but it is escalating again and I am not excited about it. I now do not I trust her with my feelings, which is not good if you want to resolve problems in the relationships. WTF? I just heard you say it is never going away. It is true. I am 64 and i still feel like I am 4 years old sometimes

    is this essentially what eckhart tolle writes about in "the power of now"? :) and i get so confused with dominated by emotional or logic ..as a highly sensitive im emtionally sensitive but how does that link to the subconcious?

    Thank you for the info. Its funny how when I'm moving about my day, my thoughts are unclear but when I meditate, my thoughts are very clear when I don't want thoughts. Are the thoughts coming from my sub-conscious while meditating?

    • @shelleysanders9666
      @shelleysanders9666 3 роки тому

      When you meditate (I.e. self-hypnosis) the subconscious emotional brain & conscious intellectual brain come together to work on solutions we need in our lives. During hypnosis/self-hypnosis, the body/mind are relaxed (the Parasympathetic Nervous System) - enabling us to see more clearly- and the Sympathetic Nervous System is switched off. That is, the stress response of fight flight freeze is switched off.

    thank you🙏🏽 what happens with me, is i take myself away from my emotions to be conscious, but i do not address my emotions and they fester (i’m very hsp and they build up to the point i don’t know what to do with them). do you have some advice? is your conscious mind sensory based?

    • @Runow-f7i
      @Runow-f7i 5 років тому +2

      Hi, I would like to reflect on what your saying from what I've learn..
      There is to type of emotions, the ones you feel because it's what's going on, like someone call you name and you feel angry. And the ones created by our minds, like if you keep repeating the "name calling scene" in your mind you will react to them as if it was happening but it's all in your mind.
      The goal is to learn how to be present not to stop feeling emotions, but to be able to feel present enough to adress them as they arise and to not let them take control of ourself or to repress them but express them in a healthy way towards what created them.
      The more you take yourself away from your emotions the more sensitive you become because they built up and the smallest thing make them arise and you became incouscious.
      What you could do is learning how to respond properly, look for books about emotional intelligence !
      And for the ones that are "lock" inside of you sit and let them emerge, look at them, feel them but dont react, it is inconfortable but the more you do it the less power they have over you because you are at peace with them, you no longer fight them but you listen to what they are trying to tell you.
      I don't know if it's clear ! Hope it helps haha

    Like -- I spend a lot of my waking hours writing about fairly complicated crap. Am I really using some small percentage of my conscious mind? I never write about a tax ruling based on autopilot. Sure -- I commute all zoned out and daydreaming or having the same old patterns of thought -- but 8-10 hours a day I'm crunching complex crud.
