OMG, Fred Armison hit the nail on the head with his Desi Arnaz impression. I absolutely adore Bill Hader, he is just perfect as Vincent Price and Kristen is over the top as usual, just comedic genius!
Fred Armisen can impersonate anyone. It's crazy how good he is at nailing the voices and mannerisms of almost any celebrity. The guy is a chameleon. And thanks to his mixed heritage (Venezuelan mother and Korean-German father), he can convincingly portray celebrities from many different backgrounds.
Because the impressions are so impeccable......feels surreal! It's like when you watch Alec Baldwin do a really correct impression of Trump, you feel......did Trump really say that?

He did a game show called Wordplay in 1987 just so they could make him say the word "rackabones". It was a decent game show but you imagine someone that accomplished doing that?

He had an incredibly distinctive voice (and look), did plenty of screen work which will stick around for a long time (if not forever) and was just generally a significant pop culture icon for around 4 decades up until his death. If people can still remember Peter Lorre nowadays, they'll certainly be able to remember Vincent Price for decades as well. Plus, 'Thriller' may be almost 40 years old but it's one of the western world's most popular songs and is constantly being played at discos and parties especially around Halloween, which means that most people will hear Price's voice several times a year.

This and the Halloween special are, ahem, priceless. It was always nice to see, that even in a gentle, comical way, Vincent Price was not lost to history. Before Mr. Price began almost a second career in horror films (a number of which are considered to be classics), he was a top notch dramatic actor with many movie credits to his name. I suspect if he would have still been with us when these SNL sketches were done, he would have enjoyed them.
This is one of Bill's first shows, too. It's amazing how quickly they were both able to hit the ground running on this show. Side note, I remember the first thing I really took notice of Kristen in was I think on the episode after this one where she played Megan Mullally in a Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting sketch.
Laura Caskey it was a magical time on SNL. They went from a great cast in Hammond, Stanz, Fallon, Fey to an even greater cast in Hader, Wiig, Armisen, Meyers, Thompson, Moynehan and Beyer.

Most people either don't remember him or know who he was in 2022, but back in 2005 he was still remembered. But kuddos to the one who imitated Clark Gable - that voice was identical. Sanz was great as Hitchcock. Loved Hader's line "take your time buddy, anytime, you know . . " as Sanz strolled a lo Hitchcock right by him.

Kristin's Judy Garland impression was amazing. and I loved Eva's Lucy Ball. when I was little I watched I Love Lucy all the time. she was the reason I wanted to get into acting, comedy mostly. I'd memorize the lines and perform skits at school. I loved it.

I hear you. I'm 33, but a teacher of great culture showed us The Masque of the Red Death when we were in freshman year high school. I saw more of his movies and was delighted to find out that Vincent Price's movies were based on Edgar Allan Poe's writings ( I'd been a Poe reader since 7th grade! ).
