You have some beautiful properties if you ever think about coating them; don't put SILICONE on them it's the most god awful product ever made. Put it on my own house 20 years ago. For about five years I tried every product/ procedure nothing sticks to it. Silicone doesn't stick to it. I;m in Fort Lauderdale. Great content you put out; on video number 6. Thanks Ken.

A mentor told me instead of thinking of your dream life write down your nightmare life & see the difference. What choices are you making that will lead you to the nightmare life? What will lead you to your dream? Words to live by.
Thanks for that helpful comment! If there is a beautiful woman who is everything I ever dreamed of, how fast could I run to her? If there is a hungry grizzly bear behind me, how fast could I run from him? Truly, running from horror is more impetus than running to desire. Especially a desire that is an undefined target.
I enjoyed this content. Although I have been watching less yt and doing more research. My retirement contributions are not making my 401k any better, should I buy popular index funds in a brokerage account, is this a better alternative to outperform and rebuild my retirement?
My suggestion to any investor old or new is to get a mentor and don’t just go buying stocks without proper considerations. Most of what is pumped out by the media is what most UA-cam ‘fin-entertainers’ churn out to you as fear uncertainty and doubt.
Agreed. That and reading some basic principles laid out in books like The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. There are also good UA-camrs out there like Felix, Graham Stephan, Humphrey Yang and a few others, but generally you are right.
Its unclear which stocks and sectors will lead the market in the next uptrend. Stay away from the stock market if you do not have guidance from a plannner and investment strategist. My finances have been in order since I got a wealth planner like Monica with a 600 B AUM working for me.
Who is this monica you speak about? I have also been searching for a fin-adv who can direct us on where the economy is headed new year. I don’t live in a big city.
There are many independent advisors to choose from. But I work with Monica Mary strigle and we've been working together for almost four years and she's fantastic. You could pursue her if she meets your requirements.
Ken, thank you for sharing and breaking down your value takeaways from each. I took notes, and will purchase these. Some I have had on my purchase list already.
I recognized that name, Steven Pressfield, from something else he wrote (had to look it up - 'War of Art'). I'll have to get this other book you refer to, Ken.
I think we are rapidly coming to a point where none of this will matter. I admire your balanced approach and your willingness for self analyzation. At the end of the day all that matters is to know where you're going when you die. Will it be heaven or will it be hell? This life is but a breath
Superb video. Sure I've read one or two, but haven't thought about them in years. You've inspired me to do a lot more reading. This of course means less movies... which, these days, are continually disappointing to me... so your friendly advice has come at a good time. Thank you!
IMO, to be rich(er) is not that important at your level but you still want to share your experience and still learning things to push yourself to a better person. You definitely made a well role model to us whom are figuring out things and want to be a better version of us as well.
Ken, thanks for introducing the book - never split the difference. I subscribed to the Masterclass last month and learnt alot of negotigation techniques from Chris Voss. He is a former FBI agent.
Hi Ken, I would absolutely love to start my property venture. In a $400,000 apartment what would be your target money rental range. ? The reason I’m asking this in all honesty is because my daughter is at the University of Edinburgh Scotland, and is struggling massively to find an apartment to rent, I’ve looked into buying a 3 bedroom flat / apartment which would be in the region of around £400,000 GBP.. I don’t know how to start with using OPM as most mortgages require 75% LTV. If Buy to let under my name & unfortunately will not consider the students for mortgage as they have part time jobs and do not take into account Student loans. She is 19 and is fully aware this would be a great opportunity to compound from a young age it’s just seems the whole system is stacked against progression for students and low income families, ( myself ). … Ps scammers don’t bother saying contact me. 🙄… Thanks in advance for any help, advice or guidance 👍
Your best option I think from where you are financially....is to buy, flip repeat until you are in the position where you don't need OPM...Seek God's Guidance.. peace
Well, and in school or university you get taught to focus on your strength not on your weaknesses. And people wonder why they are stuck in one specific job afterwards.
Great list, but Robert Kiyosaki will not be happy that his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad was not mentioned. I would have included his book along with Think & Grow Rich, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, E-Myth, Getting to Yes. Currently reading 'think and grow rich' ive always said so much of this doesn't apply to me. So ive decided to make it apply to me. Change of mind=change of life.

You don't find "Never split the difference" icky and manipulative? I mean, he tried to "trip you up" using the techniques ... that's ... that's icky, right?
think and grow rich was not written by napolion hill, the book that napolion wrote, before henry ford took it off the shelves and butchered it, and renamed it think and grow rich, was the law of success, in 15 lessons, written in 1925 and can only get from amazon usa, and it is a black covered hard cover
Business and real estate expertise is one thing. Personal self help books can be discarded for ONE: the Bible. The Bible is the general book for humans. Ego, and other human traits are accurately covered not theoretically covered. Eternally relevant not temporarily relevant.
If you want to support the channel, I humbly ask you to share this video with someone you think would benefit. It would really help us out.

I don’t comment on many videos. Ken I find your transparency and desire to teach very compelling. I am grateful for your teaching.

That’s what Charlie Munger calls ‘inversion’. “Invert, always invert”

That is very weird .... spoken reverse.
Someone will need to read that book to see which one is correct
You may want to take another look at the chapter on specialized knowledge. The book teaches the opposite of what you explained.

When were you officially rich & financially free? Can I achieve this before my 30s?
Yes
