- I DIDNT KNOW this Place EXISTED in Krakow Poland. Some of the best places to visit in Krakow might not actually be the most obvious place you think of. In this travel video i get to explore a hidden gem in Krakow Poland which was a very nice surprise for a tourist like myself. Hopefully this will give you an option on where to visit in Krakow.

We have four places to swim in Cracow.Zakrzówek,Bagry,Kryspinów(near Balice Airport) and Zalew Nowohucki.

Zakrzówek - a favorite place of drowners and suicides. Since 1993, when it was created from an old limestone mine, about 100 bodies have been recovered from this reservoir. They either jumped off the rocks wrong or committed suicide. There were also many drowned people who did not know how to swim. In 1992, I was walking along the bottom with my friends from high school, there were still excavators working there and large trucks were carrying away stone.
