- Evening time together at the end of the day. Everybody loves evening/couch time. Barney and Rover out in their nappies and pyjamas. Everyone finds their spots. The kettle is out on for cups of tea. Cruiser tries a cookie. At the end, Cruiser falls asleep getting a pat from Mum. He is such a beautiful boy. I have a lot of love for this guy. He’s very special. I wish it was a little easier for him. So many things to get used to and learn about. But we have all the time in the world. Taking it one day at a time. The learning goes both ways. Working it all out as we go. Never giving up.

That beautiful moment darling Freddo dropped his head onto to Sam's lap is so precious ❤ It's these bedtime moments we see just how much love is given back to Luke and Sam. We all love you too Luke and Sam, not just for what you do for your doggies but for who you are. Perfect examples of good parents to your lovely two legged and four legged family ❤❤
Freddo is a true love bug. My heart ❤️ melts every time I see the way he looks at Sam with such love in his eyes. So happy he finally found his soft spot in life.
Cruisers natural wild instincts are conflicting with his heart. He wants and likes to be loved. What a sweetie. I sure hope he can overcome these internal instincts. He is very sweet. And as a pup forced into domestication through no fault of his own. I am so glad he is with you Luke and Sam.

Ah the shepherds, the 3 musketeers. Love how they always stick together. Just so neat to see how they are with ea other. And Cruiser, Bless his Heart. He just tries so hard to communicate, whether its coming for a pet or pacing like his wildness does naturally. Hes doing so well and hes very sweet.❤

Thanks very much for your kind comment. One of my sister's dogs was badly hurt by another dog - one in the same pack who has a neurological disorder.
Reckon I've strong feelings about the situation - and tried to warn about it some time ago. It's quite unfair to both dogs.
I believe that wishful thinking is behind a lot of incidents with sudden canine aggression. Praying for the best outcome for the pups - they're both very dear to me.

So heart warming to Cruiser so relaxed and at peace. I love seeing Barney in his "Barney" sleepwear. Classic joke from the T.V. series that Deputy Fife was only ever allowed one bullet that he had to carry in his pocket so he wouldn't keep accidently discharging his gun. "Our" Barney, of course, is much more trustworthy than that I'm sure! Love him to pieces!
Barney does have some accidental discharges of his own.

So hard to believe this is the same dog who wanted to rip the other dogs to pieces for their mere presense seeing her so tolerant of Joey's wiggling her to the bottom to get closest to Luke.
Love, safety, acceptance has allowed these dogs and Cruiser to just relax and live a joyous life. To sleep with no concerns whatsoever says it all.
I pray someday Cruiser will find a snuggle buddy in the pack to sleep with. May take a long time but hopeful it can happen in this safe environment.

As I sit watching this sweet video I’m naming all the dogs for my husband. He asks how I know all the dogs . I told him it’s because I’ve followed all their journeys and because you have made us all feel like part of your family 💕💕

I can tell you the names of all the dogs in our neighourhood and a bit beyond; but, I have no idea what most of the owners names are.

Such a peaceful, sweet picture. As we see each dog, I think of each one’s story. They all ended up in doggy heaven on Earth. Cruiser just melted like butter with Sam’s gentle touch.

Such a shame Cruisers presence has been so disruptive to pack dynamics, but Im sure with your patience and perseverance he'll eventually find his place in the pack, he'll accept the whole pack and the whole pack will accept him.

He's really trying so hard to fit into the big domesticated pack when Im sure down deep in his DNA it is screaming "Im a wild animal". Luke/Sam, you never have given up on him or any dog you have rehabbed. I admire you both so much.

Evening cuddle time is so good. Joey is just a bit cheeky, but managed to squeeze in between Shadow and Luke's chest. Cutie Pie is jus wonderful all curled up and sleeping. Cruiser has come so far. Now there's buttered biscuits and slipping off to sleep while getting scratches from Mum. Thank you for this lovely video and the visit to your home.

Cruiser looks much like the coyotes in North America. We have many in New Mexico! Love you guys!!! Meant to mention the Carolina Dog, which is interesting subject in itself.
Friends in the Blue Ridge Mts had 4 Carolina Dogs - a mum and her pups that were rescues. They had goats on the property: those pups were the best bodyguards.

Still have a hard time naming the shepherds - except Banjo has that yellow collar. I think Rosie has the darker face but it isn't much difference!! Banjo does not wear a collar. The yellow collar is worn by Matilda. Rosie has a pinkish violet collar. All three are stunning. 😊
