How the Farm Started

- Our very first few months. We started the farm back in March 2017, and a lot has happened since then. Luke and I are those crazy people that like to work 7 days a week cramming a lot in over a short period of time. Fairly certain they call those people crazy. Anyway, this video shows what the farm looked like back then, what dogs were there on our first day. There’s a few of our dear friends in here who we’ve sadly lost too over the years. RIP beautiful Flo, Jack, Zara and our dear boy Wallace. Elle was just a baby back then, who grew up with the pack, in amongst it every day as the pack was much smaller than it is today. She adored her time with the dogs. Back then our pools were cattle troughs and our dam was a puddle! Our own girl Tilly the Red Heeler was not our own back then, she belonged to a beautiful lady named Roxy. Tilly used to come to the farm regularly. Roxy sadly passed away from cancer but not before she asked us to take Tilly. Tilly has been a part of our family living the farm life ever since. There’s also Ruarí the Wheaten’s first day in here, and also the very first time we caught Bandit on camera refusing to go home. He’s refused every day since! There’s Bruce as a 6 month old puppy and Billy our now big billy goat just one week old back then living in our kitchen pantry and being bottle fed because his mum rejected him. We hope you enjoy seeing where the farm began, we have truly enjoyed creating it.

I really enjoyed the walk down memory lane. I love hearing the back stories, such as how Tilley became part of the family. What a beautiful act of kindness. I'm sure Roxy was able to end her life's journey with peace knowing her baby was well taken care of.

It was so wonderful to see all the dogs I first met ….4-5 years ago ! My first day watching , I fell in LOVE WITH BANDIT ! How could you not ! I haven’t seen him in months and months ! He is bigger than life ! ❤️❤️❤️.

You will be surrounded! They get to greet us first before our loved ones. 🐾♥️🐾
Awwwh dear Charlie...must admit I shed a few tears seeing him again...I don't know what our connection was but that dear old soul of his really affected me...always remembered with much love
They are all beautiful but Bandit is especially handsome, all living their best lives at the farm.

I know I have watched this before, but it is even more special now. Now that I know many of the dogs and know some of those that are gone. I still tear up over sweet Charlie and it was good to see Wallace and Flo too. Tilly was a fireball then and it is great seeing her in her prime. The tire chase looks like it was great fun and I especially liked the tennis balls hanging from trees. I think that could still be a popular game, maybe for the puppies, to help with coordination. My favorite part was seeing Elle as a baby and how much she has grown. She has shown her love of the dogs since the beginning. In a couple of the pictures, she looked exactly like Wolfric. I almost forgot he wasn't around then!! This is just a very enjoyable video, and it's wonderful to see where your hard work has helped you to reach some of your dreams. May you continue to dream, and reach your goals, as we follow along, sharing them and cheering you on all the way!! Can't help but love you all. 🐾❤🐶☀🏐👍🥰
I had to go back and watch it again today. Loved seeing Bandit so young and Tilly acting like a puppy! For health reasons I had to close my small dog boarding and grooming business after more than 25 years. I've even moved, from SC where I lived over 30 years back to FL where I was born, to be near family. But, I still miss all of my clients and their dogs, and your wonderful videos fill the void and warm my heart. ❤
Bandit loved Luke even then. Ellie is so precious, she helping Daddy take care of the doggies. Great video. You & your team have worked so hard. Funny at the end how Bandit doesn't want to go home. Something's never change❤️❤️.
Why am I crying? I loved seeing the beginning and how far you all have come. And bandit. Real love. If you doubt a dog’s ability to love and know what’s going on , watch bandit and Luke’s relationship. And the girls so young. And Sam still so beautiful. Thank you for the memory.
After all these years watching the Farm videos this is the first time seeing this one. It now ranks as being one of my favorites. Elle is so cute!
Fellow New South Welsh person here. Far, far, far south coast of NSW. Just love watching your video's. The time just gets eaten up watching it all. Such an amazing concept for the doggo's. As a life long dog tragic I say thanks so much for what you do for all our Aussie pooches. I already had oddles of respect but when you started with the shelter dogs I just couldn't stop the tears of happiness and relief flowing. I mean every single one of the videos. I have had so many of these types of dogs in my life and each dog you show bring's back memories of my own furry friends. These orphan annies and andrews are so worth it. They need people like you more than you know. So THANK YOU so very much and keep up the fantastic life saving and life enriching work with what I think are the most deserving of all creatures great and small.

Hey there, I started watching the Farm videos when Barney arrived. It was Barney's story and the way Luke spoke that had me intrigued. I subscribed, then about a month later became a "Behind the Scenes " member.
I started watching the earlier videos and it makes you appreciate the work and dedication that Luke and Sam put into their dream. It proves that with hard work, determination, focusing on the future that anything is possible. Yes there have definitely been challenges, heartache and pain along the way. And at times you have douted yourselves.
We have seen you grow and adapt, and you have given us, your community of followers the privilege of bringing us along with you.
I love the earlier videos. If new members get the chance, you'll love watching them.

Hi to everyone who has just found Luke and Sam who started the doggy daycare farm, you will be amazed and cry buckets. Their dedication is untouched for many fur babes and dogs who are in their care. In the last few months that i have been watching I have seen incredible changes in all the dogs, and have loved everyday popping in to see joy and unfortunately 1 pup passing this Sunday love and bless him. Also shocked that someone stole a pup I prayed for his return. I thank Luke Sam and all the team for their hard work, all the the very best from England.

As the video showed you first building things, I thought....hmmmm, those are all the places where Bandit used to hide out. And then there is the first time Bandit didn't want to go home!!! Love how Luke talks to him and giggles about him. He sure was a fire cracker. And Tilly!!! Look at her go!!! So cute to see how much Elle, loves to greet the bus!!! And Flo making her laugh!!! So many wonderful memories!!!

This video has just popped up on my UA-cam video feed and I love seeing your beginnings again and how far The Farm has come since March 2017 - you should be very proud of yourselves and everything you have achieved in such a short space of time - whilst bringing up a family too. I know you have had some down days recently but, really, you have done so well and should give yourselves huge pats on the back.
Owners will notice their dogs dream better.
I've watched every one of your videos, some multiple times, having recently discovered your channel. I watch mostly with tears 😭. Some from the pups who are no longer with us. (condolences on Wal's passing) some from seeing the absolute joy all your dogs display. I've had dogs all my life, currently living with a gsp and a Vizsla, 11 and 12. You have inspired me to enrich their lives just a little more. They have more enrichment than most to be fair, as we live on 160 acres with creeks, dams and lots of animals, but a little more won't hurt. 👍
