Are chin implants able to provide any vertically lenghtening to the chin? Or is genioplasty the only way to achieve that? I've had bone loss in my lower jaw which has caused my chin to appear shorter and more receeded and I am looking into the best ways to correct this. thank you.

Doctoror pls if a vertical lengthning chin is made literally a gap is formed then doctor they will fix a screw to support the bone then that gap how doctor will it get fused do our bone grow . plastic surgeon saying that bone will.heal and life long we didnt want that screw is it true doctor.im soo scared of tjat gap formed vertically

vertical lengthening of the chin cant be corrected by implant .... in only one case that is long chin but receding backwards is the only case you can use the implant otherwise genioplasty is the ideal one ....implant with short chin is a malpractice
