42:44. Dave built a tree, and forgot to reveal one card after placing a tree... Therefore Lincoln played a bear, but the clearing had to be empty, after dave managed to get 10 cards there...
The "confusion" about the name has maybe got something to do with the German word "Mischwald" which was translated literally here with "Forrest Shuffle". But it actually means that there is a mixture between different trees in a forrest. It should actually be called "Mixed Forrest".
just a heads up at 42 minutes and 54 seconds Dave placed a silver fir card paid 2 cards which brought the total clearing cards to 9. He did not take a card from the draw pile and add it to the clearing after placing a tree card in his forest, this would have made the clearing cards add up to 10and all the cards go to the discard pile. Lincoln played the bear card after which he should have only put 3 cards into his cave not 12 cards.
Love Game Night🥰🥰 Looks like a great game🥰 Another I have to add to my collection🥰🥰 But seriously? UA-cam had to interrupt a GameGenic commercial for another commercial which then went to the end of the GameGenic commercial? Seriously? 😒😒😇😇
Looks an interesting game another one where you seem better concentrating on one or two things to score big. 3 or 4 bears with the track quite up would score a lot, you almost feel Nikki should get more for completing all 4 sides of the trees for biodiversity. Anyway thanks for showing.
Hi, i think that the gameplay is similar to Meadow. Is it only my feeling? Another question: Is the game chaotic and difficult to follow? I see a lot of cards with several combinations. I wait to your answer. thanks, bye
I’m only 25 minutes into the game when I paused to read some comments, but it seems like each of the same plants/animals (with the exception of the owl) does the same thing, so while you may have to take your time reading the cards at first, you can commit their powers to memory pretty quickly.
it's very easy to follow, once you read the last page of the rules the cards will be more clear in you head and you d pretty much know what those effects/bonuses mean on the cards.i don t see how is this similar to meadow apart from both having nature/animals as theme
3 player count is the way to go...our game group tried it at 3 and loved it. Next week, we tried at 5 player and the game was over before we could barely get anything going...the scores were comically low.
I feel that the sycamore should have been called maple. Just saying. In the German version it's the European kind of maple tree, even though it also seems to fall under the umbrella term 'sycamore'.
The number is there on these cards but not the total number of a type of card. Really only works for the trees since the fauna cards are not identical to that I know of anyway. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Just before Lincoln played his bear, Dave played a tree and paid for it with two cards making 9 cards in the meadow but didn't put out an extra card for it. If he had it would have cleared the meadow and there would have been no cards in the meadow for Lincoln to put in his cave. That would have really messed up Lincoln's game.
after a coouple plays a score near 200 is something wich is not uncommen Nice gameplay....O and Nicky should have at least 3 points more from the last Doe. Since it is evey card with that symbol, not each tree.
we counted the score this way:first all the cards from the top of the trees, then right, then left, then bottoms and in the end the trees, didnt take more than 8 minutes (we played 2 players)
1:14:14 timestamp for the game's discussion.
I like that you added the scores visible on the screen. Nice new feature.
My ten-year-old daughter and I just got this game and were confused about a lot of it. Now I think it should be fun. Nicely done ~ Thank you 👍🏼

Yeah. As soon as I got to that point, I immediately paused the video to check the comments. A big whoops
When Dave said, "I have no bugs," I immediately thought, "there might be bugs on some of you lugs but there ain't no bugs on me." I must need sleep.
Great post game discussion. Appreciate it!
On each card you find a little number that tells you how many cards of this card is in the game
really nice game! I would love to try this game!
Thanks so much. I just bought this game yesterday, and my sister and I tried it today. I think we did pretty well, but you clarified a lot for me!

This is one of those games where I would ignore the end condition and just continue building habitats 😁
Butterflies 🦋 are FREEE 😍
Common Toads🐸 are FREEE 😍
Before you guys ask the question. I’ll answer it…. Yes, butterflies are free

Nikki has 5 more points for the second toad and 3 more points for another dark leaf
Interesting game. Thanks!
I just ordered this game. It has a Meadow feel, mixed with Winterhaven Woods.
Dave also has at least 4 more points from two extra hares on his Silver Fir. 2 points per card attached to tree.

That's weird. I will see what is up. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Baaaaaaaaaat! That's just how we talk in Tucson, Arizona.

My table isn't big enough for this game😂

Very very different to meadow.
For me it is more like Innovation but only sort of. Definitely have fun playing both though. Thanks for the note and for watching -Lincoln
Very different than Meadow: I like Forest Shuffle a lot!

Wish this game was available…anyone know when this is released in the US?
Ive seen it on Noble Knight Games site for about $30 or so🥰
Just got mine on Amazon.
Anyone else notice that they put Nikkis name below Dave and vice certain lol

Update: I actually got the game but it was hard!! lol
Hey Niki, I like ur hair much better this time than your normal, very very pretty!
See you at the beech.
How about planting and populating as verbs, lol
in the version of the game I have the number of each type of card is displayed!!!
The number is there on these cards but not the total number of a type of card. Really only works for the trees since the fauna cards are not identical to that I know of anyway. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
It's in their version as well. It's a very small number in the right corner of the bar that displays the card name.
Nikki had at least 5 more points.
Dave didn't count his score for the cards on the bottom of his trees at all either

Right
I was going to point that out.
Also - when she played the beech she didn't draw a card.
Not a bad game, but can take way too long to finish. Also scoring at the end is a real pain
we counted the score this way:first all the cards from the top of the trees, then right, then left, then bottoms and in the end the trees, didnt take more than 8 minutes (we played 2 players)
@arrowarr9020 it can take far longer with all the special scoring bonuses on some cards and checking against opponents cards etc.
I have a very important question.
How much do butterflies cost in this game?
first
