Truly one of the most savage and crazy scenes/episodes in the anime. And one of the most violent/bloody and gory.
It was good 💪🏻 I really dig Obito's story from childhood til kaguya spears him it's a tragically sad story but he finds redemption. Although Naruto's line about Obito being really awesome doesn't make sense but hey it is just a story and Naruto is pure at heart mofo so I could see him saying that in an innocent ignorance.

He was as skilled at Wood release as much as Pain was with the Rinnigan. Like they use every part to it's fullest.
That moment when you realise that Naruto and Sasuke, despite having Hashirama cells, don't have Wood Release but for some reason Moegi does.

Failed to live up to the hype or potential is basically a running gag at this point in Naruto/Boruto for almost every character just look at the Hyuga clan, Tenten, Kiba, the class rep ( forgot her name the one that summons Nue) it's actually easier to name the only 2 to live up to their potential Naruto and Sasuke

@@Black_Guy yes I will give that Sakura went well beyond what was thought of her but when introduced didn't seem to have any skills what so ever, she was smart and had good chakra control but the only real reason she was their was as a love interest for Naruto
i mean... if sarutobi was that strong, maybe konohamaru could get there too. but the man needs to train way more. i dont think he's even kakashi's level when kakashi was 15.
Maybe Moegi and Yamato should start a company to build complete houses with their Woodstyle or, at least, they can reinforce already existing houses with it since Konoha seems to get destroyed or severely damaged every now and then. Those two will be making bank. They'll be the richest people in the village lol.
I wish obito used wood style more in the series. Kamui + wood style + fire jutsu(+ one rinnegan eye) = a lot of dead bodies.

Woodstyle being effective against normal chakra as a sort of pseudo-chakra-sealing method and with the enemies getting more powerful and use a lot of chakra themselves should mean that Moegi and Yamato should get some shine in this series as well. If, for example, the Otsutsuki are indeed coming to earth later on in the story, and we know that anything below Kage-level is fodder to them, then maybe Woodstyle can be one of the things that is used to slightly bridge a small part of the gap between beings like them and people like Moegi and Yamato, who are mid-tier Jonin at best. It's either that or Uzumaki sealing jutsu, Sage Mode or ninja tech. All four those methods could be used by different people to deal with enemies like the Otsutsuki. It would give Kodachi the opportunity to show several people, even Jonin to have some shine against these enemies and that the Otsutsuki aren't always the end all be all anymore at that point in the Boruto series, with every nation progressing at a fast rate.

No explanation yet. Her Boruto character profile has her listed with having wood release as a kekkei genkai. So far the character profiles have been right, spoiling stuff well in advance of the anime: shikadai having wind release, Boruto knowing gale palm jutsu, and Chocho having the butterfly mode. That was all stuff the manga character profiles spoiled before we saw it in the anime.

Do you think they'll reach high enough lvl's of which they can contend with some of the stonger inner members like Delta or possibly Code, and actually stay relevant, or do you believe they'll get left behind and overshadowed by Boruto and Kawaki?

im saying...in the flashbacks when Hashirama and Madara met and became friends, the forest was already there and when discussing the building of a village to protect the young...they were sitting on top of the cliff where the great faces ended up being....don't think he developed the wood jitsu at that age.....idk they coulda used a different area, but I feel they didn't....oh well

we got Kara members that would shit on Hashirama to be honest with you. Boruto needed to transform into Momoshiki to beat one and that was after the guy played around and nearly killed Boruto's team. His arrogance is what got him in position where Boruto could transform and kill him. Hopefully this answers your question

Hashirama was profound when it comes to his skill in medical ninjutsu. So much so that he could heal wounds without having to weave a single handsign.
He isn't touted as "the god of shinobi for nothing", as he was without a doubt the most powerful of the kages in his era. This man's usage of wood release is so phenominal that when using it, he could subdue a *full* powered sunano'o cloacked ninetails, with ninetails bieng heavily implied to be the strongest of the tailed beast, biengs who are widely known and feared for their destructive power across nations.

Completely random but wouldn’t an uchiha be able to theoretically use the gentle fist. I remember in naruto it said that it’s hard for ninjas to release chakra from their body and Neji could do it all around. But nonetheless they’re still able to release chakra an uchiha could watch a hyuga do the 64 palms and hit the same points as them and shut down chakra network. Or am I wrong?..

Lets go over their Ninjutsu/Taijutsu/Genjutsu and Susanoos.
Starting with the Susanoo...
EMS Sasukes Susanoo is FAR superior to Itachis and that's simply because of the eye advantage....
Yes Itachi has unlimited chakra while in edo but his abilites(which been stated multiple times get weakened while in edo tensei form)
So to make it clear.. itachis Susanoo would get obliterated by Sasukes even while using the mirror...
Sasuke can rapidly fire enton around the area and heat up the air for kirin... While Sasuke does that Itachi has no way to counter it simply because his own susanoo is no match for sasukes....
Once kirin is ready itachi would have to block it via his mirror(Yes the susanoo countered kirin in their battle but that doesn't matter because like i said Sasukes susanoo just destroys itachis one)
So kirin would hit and itachi would have to counter it via his mirror which lead up to itachi not having cover anymore and sasuke would just overpower him with his susanoo...
(Not even mentioning the blade because it has no feats, its clearly slow asf and only caught enemies off guard who were not moving(like nagato) or in a slow avatar(orochimaru)
Once Itachi is out of his susanoo he would be done for which i will explain in a second....
Lets first go over genjutsu....
Sasuke posses the EMS making tsukoyomi completely useless against him.
Sasuke himself doesn't use genjutsu until Six path powers
So genjutsu would completely be out of play in this fight.
-Taijutsu:Itachi would get stomped in close combat... Madara stated that Sasukes close combat skills are insane because of his Tomoe Sharingan(EMS)
Combined with his sword he would easily overpower itachi in close combat.
-Ninjutsu.
Both posses Amatarasu
Sasukes once again being superior via possessing the EMS
Also since Sasuke posses EMS(Itachis eyes) he would most likely be able to control itachis amatarasu via enton(Flame control) but that's just an assumption.
Sasuke:Kirin,Enton,Amatarasu,
Chidori multiple variants
Fire style multipe variants
+He can combine all these techniques via Enton.
Itachis:
Shadow clones (no special feats)
Mutiple fire style variants
Crow clone technique
Water clone technique
Yasaka mirrors(susanoo long range attacks.
Sasuke and itachi counter each other ninjutsus but Sasuke has the advantage via speed/reaction and the enton would make Sasuke overpower itachi quite easily....
So once itachi is forced away from his mirror shield he would be literally pray for Sasuke..
Once itachi is finished,Sasuke would put amatarasu on him to stop edo tensei itachi to coming back again.

Nope. Karma only absorbs conjured matter like fire style, or water style from the mouth. Anything stemming from nature is affective agains it, and that includes wood release. However, in yamato's case, who can actually materialize wood from his body, only then can you argue that Karma would work against it.

You forgot the most powerfull mokuton jutsu,................... "Mokuton Weed-Sho-Ha" releases weed in a 2000m AOE and gets the user high and forces the opponent to fight you while they are high too. rotflmfao
