Reeves' Superman was amazing for its time. Still holds up to this day. Routh's Superman tried to capture that same essence by trying to mimic even the plot in some way. But it didn't suit the modern era. Cavill's Superman although suits the modern era in terms of plot and action loses the essence that the Reeve's Superman movies had. I really loved the first half of Man of Steel.

I would under no circumstances think their future films would resemble their previous ones. WW for example. That's the quality plus more that they want to go for every time. Something unique every time bc of the specific characters and directors.
I agree with Brit that the Colors are great: DC has been missing in Colors and both Aquaman and Shazam look like a step in the right direction for that (They’re ComicBook movies: ComicBooks are colourful!). My only worry is that they may have shown way too much in this trailer... Hope they kept some good stuff for the theatre (or that those were alternative takes!)

My only complaint about the dceu...and yes this has been said before....is this...these Solo movies....MoS, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Batman, Shazam.....SHOULD HAVE COME FIRST....before Justice League or BvS were even thought of.....guaranteed they’d be giving the MCU a run for their money BIG TIME if they just followed that same formula....that said....LOOKS SICK....Momoa IS Aquaman....period
It looks like the best cinematography the DCEU has had. They've definitely had ambitious cinematography but I really prefer this style, brightly lit, more practical. In fact, my biggest concern is that the movie might go too crazy with the big CGI set pieces underwater and such. That's the stuff that seems less finessed to me, but the more grounded action scenes set in practical environments look great.
Dceu is being saved by this movie. Not for me anyway..... cause all there movies I enjoyed. Except Suicide squad sucked and justice league but I still liked certain things about Suicide squad.
