The rumors by many close sources to Aaron Glenn (not Connor Hughes), is that Mark Brunell and Steve Wilks are his top 2 choices for OC/DC, which I would love. Steve Wilks was the DC for the Niners' Super Bowl run they lost to the Chiefs in 2023, and the DC for the time Cam Newton was in Carolina and they went to a Super Bowl there too, losing to Peyton Manning. As for Mark Brunell, he is basically everything Josh McCown has been hyped about during the hiring process that many people like, but with more experience, and has more prolonged success doing it. He is the actual reason Jared Goff turned around from being a throwaway in a trade, to being a top 8, top 6 qb in the league by many metrics. He has worked closely with Goff and his development the last 4 years since he has been in Detroit, not Ben Johnson, who gets a lot of the credit. Plus, he played on more teams than McCown, and was a better qb in the league during his career, so there is also that.
A truly refreshing hire the right ex Jet for the position....... I'm hoping that if McCarthy isn't hired this cycle... that Glenn brings Mccarthy in as OC to bond with Rogers and Adams . the talent is there to jump to 12-13 wins easily......... Glenn reminds me of the fire that Herm Edwards brought to the job 25 yrs ago
I wake up every morning hoping Boomer is on vacation. Love Gio but he is weighed down by this colossal bore.
The most important decision Aaron Glenn will have to make is Offensive coordinator. He HAS TO NAIL THIS ONE.

Glenn over Ryan is a complete joke. Glenn in general is just another wasted two or three years. Get ready to see a man on the sidelines who is completely lost. I really hope Rodgers doesn't subject himself to any more of this nonsense.

Vrabel would have been my choice, but I don't see them hiring him since he signed with another team. Attempt to debate the point that was made, not the one that you want to.
@@derekjet7715 Your point makes very little sense. Why bring up Rex Ryan's name at all? Ryan has not coached in over 13 years. Aaron Glenn has more relevant and has more recent success as a defensive coordinator.
