Thanks for sharing. Next to a dog, tools are a mans best friend.
Lol you got that right thanks for the comment Mark.
I did the same thing in my house, I have a coal stove in the basement with a blower that pushes more then enough heat. I found a nice cast iron floor register at the salvage yard, and it looks great too. Great video Kevin, thanks for sharing, and be well my friend.
I'm sure it helps on heating bills.
That's a cool tool. Making use of what would otherwise be scrap is a win, win. Thanks for sharing! Be well.
That's right Gerard thank you for the comment.
I got this tool after watching this video. It's works great! $20 off of Amazon! Home depot wanted $40 for one.. Greetings from Florida! We don't have much need for heat.. I'm using the tool to build my dust collector in my wood shop
Thank you for the comment Eric That tool sure is handy to have.

I have had one of these for at least 30 years. I don't use it often, but when I am working on any kind of ducting, it works great.
Good tool for that kind of work Jeff thank you for the comment.

Yep, I've had one of these tools for years, works great.
Thanks for the comment 444 Helmut.
Cool tool. It's me Steve's cousin Jeff. Tell everyone howdy.
Thanks Jeff will do.
Now that it's 2022 and the left has enlightened us, maybe you should ASK the pipe if she wants to be called male or whatever.
3 blades on outside, 2 on the inside
Thanks for the info.
I’ll be trying this on my dryer vent pipe. Bought a new home, 1.5 years later I took the dryer flex tube off to clean… and I couldn’t put it back on. Why? Well the contractors didn’t crimp the pipe to allow a standard flex tube to fit back on. It’s too big. So hopefully this will solve the issue. Thanks.
It will work great
Hey people that sheet metal pipe is okay for natural gas off top furnace its getting hot But Not as hot as wood burner heat does, So i dont recommended using sheet metal on wood burner, Use black stove pipe its more safer and can with stand 200+ degrees temps and black stove pipe it bit thicker and stronger and cost bit more.
Thanks for the comment.
😊👍
Thank you Pete T.
If it is going into a fireplace insert does anything go in between the insert and the male end?
Not sure what you mean sorry
Your using backwards, the three got to go on the outside, and the two got to goes on the center of the pipe.
Thanks for the info John.
When I was a kid trying to save money for college, I worked full time at an AC/Heating company in Virginia. I've used that tool more times than I care to mention.
If I die "young" it will be because of that job. Spent all day crawling under spider infested houses running pipe and wrapping it in Insulation. My lungs are probably full of fiberglass. My face, neck and arms itched from fiberglass for months after I left that job. Worse job ever. Nice tool though.
LOL I could you doing that what will do for money a thanks for sharing Daryl.
👍😎
Thank you M Ten.
