Coming from a huge non-Devon fan. Folks, commentators need to become very clear on the state of arm wrestling weight classes. Devon maybe the greatest heavyweight of all time. But these weight classes need to be very clear and standardized. We don't ask 175lb champ to pull 215lb. champ too often. Weight classes and limits should and need to be universal. Devon is not a super-heavy weight and its not fair to anyone around that weight class that super heavy's are considered in the range of 275lbs up to 460lbs. I think we also need another class up there also! Why would anyone expect Devon around 260-280ish max to pull these massive giants! Truely not fair, even for the likes of Devon. I feel Devon is in no man's land with his weight and career. Maybe make 25lbs threshold/capacity difference for each specific/individual weight classes/titles?

Ermes is very self conscious and accurate in arm wrestling. He doesn't really trash talk like most would believe. He says what he really thinks. That doesn't mean he Is always 100% right of course but he really knows what he talks about and Is not trash talking.
Before Levan he was saying I think maybe I can do something, he felt he could mess up somehow with Levan but he never said 1% or like 80% victory for him.
The fact that now he says 1% for devon, he Is not playing game, he really believes that and he Is accurate.

Levan said slightly favor for Devon. So i guess he would know better than all the Ermes fans here. What i will say, is that Devon is very different from Jerry. And he loads before go, meaning Ermes cant do what he did to Jerry. Plus his hand, wrist and pronation is insane.

Ermes is another level strenght wise compared to John. He's more explosive and has better cardio. Plus they both have similar styles. And Ermes is probably a bit longer than John too.
The only thing Devon can bank on is the height. But the difference ain't that big really. And Ermes is too strong.

we should not forget the fact that ermes lost his wrist against levan because levan had not only a lever advantage but also his hand were big af. And ermes still managed to keep his pronation a little bit. I dont see devon taking the full control of ermes hand, and its the only thing that could prevent him from being toprolled. In the last round maybe he will take his hand but then we will see the same thing that happened against levan, ermes will use the flop press and im 100% sure that devon cant beat that. ermes is really good in setup, he knows how to prevent cheating. If u see how he speaks with the referee and his opponents its almost always a fair start (or in his favor). And he is really explosive, that's something which is also in his favor.
