This man wife had cancer. He is on a mission to help others. And im with him and bought stock. Cuz i wanna help ppl with cancer also as i lost ppl to it. God bless us all
Just start investing (18yo) stumbled across TEMP and bought 3 stocks about 2 months ago. Must I say I am impressed today lol. (I made 70% over the last month) it’s my best performing stock. Kind of praying in its downfall so I can buy more.
Will tempus become next groupon drop 98% or next tsla in 2034? I'm quite sure i will back to this video 10 years later and have a funny answer. I really like the AI medical concept cause health is a huge business ocean. Compare to groupon, temp has no competitve like amzn alibaba or other local sales website. EU China japan tech is dying, US is the only winner in AI.
"Is this an AI or ML company?" ouch. "When is this company making money - why is it not making profit already?" ouch ouch. As sb. that comes from the tech industry, it's always triggering me a bit that the interviewers in most of these mainstream media interviews, fail to apply the required skills to phrase the questions in a meaningful way. OnTopic: I have mixed feelings about Tempus - The strategy outlined on the (beautiful) investors website makes a 100% sense and is in the right market at the absolute right time. However most of the content gives me this "fake it till you make it" and "impress on the outside first, fix the inside later" vibes. But me being realistic (more than the reporters in this video), I know attempting scaling by shifting initial prio to securing future funding first, is the way with the highest probability to succeed according to all silicon valley / tech industry playbooks and Eric does a really good job executing it. That's why I think we will see high valuation growth in this company in step 1 and in step 2 we will have to see if they will actually be able to grow into that by releasing actual cutting edge solutions, which are more than shallow wrappers around other AI offerings. Otherwise customers have no need for Tempus in the middle. Fingers crossed and good luck, Eric. The cause is a very good one that deserves (financial) support.
Thanks for the great comment! Let’s see what happens with the company… I’m just hoping it understand how the tech playbook doesn’t work in the healthcare space (as shown by Theranos, Forward, etc)
@ and teladoc yup That‘s why I also think (looking at the smart business modell), that this company is not being placed as a healthcare company but rather an AI tech platform that can be leveraged by healthcare companies in step 1 and can grow into other industries going forward (a bit similar to Palantir which has the same plan starting with defense)
I am interested in TEM but I found out that Tempus's access to medical data is not exclusive. So even if it is doing great, it will be a matter of time before rivals can catch up or do better. The switching cost of data service will be very low. Whoever can give insight will be the one being paid. A company like OpenAi has zero experience but far more advanced in AI. The competition will be very intense when elite companies enter the game. What do you think?
specailized companies like Tempus can use all the other AIs and inlude them in their framework- thereby even profiting of advancements in foundation models.

Perfect storm TEM is in. We got a lowering interest rate environment (good for Biotechs) and a name in AI. This could surpass $70’s again soon…..
If I only knew… damn the stock is 🔥
You know Nancy brought you here.

She’s got a diamond touch

Yeah, great points! Would love to follow your thoughts on healthcare investing… do you share your ideas on another platform? X or similar?

Why can’t it be acquired?
Thanks Mommy Nancy.
