Great video. There is an extraordinary amount of gold in this video regarding managing large data organizations and teams that revolve around them. I really enjoyed hearing and sympathizing with some of the same issues regarding technology decisions (build vs. buy) and especially the intricate dynamics of how to organize teams in a data org. Great stuff!
Thanks for the interview. Some very interesting things to think about, regarding the roles of the architect for example, or the way to switch the data team from cost to profit center 😀 I will keep that in my favorites
Nice interview. I heard one time from a team lead, that the best data model is the one that remains longer in production.
i have heard some similar statements!
Congrats, great conversation: well conducted, and the resource is very, very wise.
yeah i need to do another one with jeff!

Awesome video. Would love to hear more from Jeff. He is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable!
We were saying we should probably have done like a 2 hour stream!
@@SeattleDataGuy I think he enjoyed it as well, so maybe 2 hours will be an easy request for next time.
