I ran the s21 and S22. Never gave me any doubts. Rain, frozen roads, on their edge aggressive riding. Putting down 200hp. 300+kph, touring. About 30,000km. Never gave me any doubts.
yours lasted 30,000km?
Not a chance I imagine thats the total mileage he did in total on that rubber. I've got a 2023 MT10 and my S22's are getting ready and i'm just over 1500 miles. Going to give the S23's a whirl having seen this i think@@PidarBlyad
frozen road.......lol did you stud them?>
@afiq42 no they don't last that long lmao. But I kept buying them back to back because I liked them so much. 30 thousand in total. I got about 7 or 8 thousand km out of a rear tire. 10 thousand or more on a front.
@sebg2086 I was still on pavement, not ice. But yes, I ran them at -10 celcius a few times and they weren't terrible. Of course I was being very careful.
Awesome content. Loved seeing all the different bikes being used on the track.
We are pretty spoiled by tire technology today. So many good choices across a lot of brands.
I loved m S22, can't wait to try the S23. Glad they're using such a "salad" foundation!
Hell yeah! I bet that was a good time man!
I’m currently using the s22 and can’t wait to try these s23
Some would say the Michelin power 6 is better in everything so we need a serious head to head comparison with lap times, cornering speed and stability etc.
Warms my heart to know that you’re in my country. I’m from Pretoria, 30 minutes away from where you were. 15mins on a bike. I hope the summer weather is kind on you.
Back to bikes. I’m running the S22s on my Triumph Speed Triple 1200RR. And I gotta say. I love it. It’s my first set. And I’ll definitely be trying the S23.
If you don’t mind. Please make a quick feedback vid of your SA experience. Would love to know what you think about our beloved country.
Would be nice to bump into you.
The thumbnail is sick 💯💯
Super jealous, looked like too much fun!! Bucket list ✅
How long are you going to be in South Africa? Will you be doing any other videos while here?
I've got S22s on my bike right now. I'll step up to S23s once I get these ones nice and flat haha.
I have these on my KTM 690 smcr they are really good 👍🏻
Very interesting to see the difference between the bikes.
Happy to see you in my home country
Just bought a set of these for my ZX-14R. Wished you'd have got on that Busa to tell me how they felt on a big boy.
I had the S21 OEM on my S1KRR and ran them to the chord. Switched to Pirelli and was much happier. Nothing beats Pirelli for me. Bridgestones are "aight" imo but different strokes for different folks
Im thanking to switch to the rosso 4 did you try it ?
@@raed1953 Yep I got Rosso 4 Corsas. About 1500 miles on them so far and they're awesome. Heat up quick and a ton of grip. I can't speak for the track but for canyon carving, I love them. Really great feeling on the side of tire during lean which I didn't feel on the Bstones
@@chorseundgrdthat’s it im going with rosso for sure but im confused with prices because I will take it online , we don’t have them here in Middle East , any website suggestions ?
@@raed1953 I would try some of the EU retailers that ship internationally
It's the price difference. I would have tried the Pirelli Angel GT2s, but the price! I'm on a ZX-14R too so I need a tougher compound than the Rossis.
Welcome to my home country!! Enjoy my Bru!!!🇿🇦🤙🏼
Redface on two wheels reporting from South Africa.
😂😂😂
May try those next
First-class impressions from the race track - only the Hornet feels really slow to watch 😅
Love your outfit. Looks damm good on the ktm ❤
OC get the tires and can't wait for the 800nk videos
I’m running S21.. I’ll try them next time
Just got a 24 street triple rs. Really conflicted on s23/power 6 or a sport touring tire like roadsmart 4 or maybe road 6. I live in south carolina, wont be doing track days. Mostly just cruising around in the country. Also roads here are mostly horrible condition. Any opinions anyone? Also im not very concerned about wet grip, will be avoiding rain as much as i can.
That Rim on the Ru-Roc Helmet looks kinda Silly, it doesn't fit the style of the Lid ????🙃
Loved the S22. I bet I’d love the S23.
If I ever road track on a bike I also run on the street, I really think they are the play over something like a Power 5.
I run a Road 6 on my MT-09 that never sees a track. It’s smokes hypersport and pure track tires in road conditions and temps.
Road 6 are better than the S22 Hypersport that came from the factory ?
@@Bogdangati4 on the ROAD, no comparison. I smoke folks running their hypersport tires(s22, s23, power 5's, etc...) on the street. Now on the track, yeah they would dust me. If you wanna go from cruising at 40-70mph behind Sally in her civic to a posted 30-45mph twisty section of road and you are scraping, Road 6 will bite instantly. Think of it this way... hypersport tires run a warm up lap to reach operating temps right? Imagine not doing the warm up lap. Thats street riding.
I asked you because I had Road 5 on CB650F, and now my MT09 came from the factory with S22 Hypersport which I am currently using and I love them. I did not feel the need to warm them up as they warm up really fast in summer weather. Talking about street only.@@Tinker3504
You should have more track days, bit track school maybe, learn and push yourself further in the bike world.
I’ll get some for my 400…damn Ik it feels good to be sponsored
The best R Mitas sport force+ cheap N strong
If these can match the pirelli rosso iv, I'm in.
yeah test them on the streets!
Why do they have you there? Journalist 😂
would love to see this compared to the rosso 3
There are already rosso 4
Hi, can someone tell me what bike that is on the thumbnail?
Suzuki gsx8 s
Looks like the GSX-S1000, but definitely a Suzuki.
Confirmed GSX-S1000 after looking at Suzuki's website. The bodywork, the lines, gold forks. There ya go!
Thanks guys, really appreciate it! Have a nice weekend tomorrow!
@@ghostontwowheelswhen did the gsxs1000 get a parallel twin? Lmao
...Chase did a lot of Chasing.
Genuine questing. How is this a test. And how did this reader get an invite. Riding round off line and doesn’t even use full gas on the straights. You could use tyres made of wood to give grip at that commuting pace. Absolutely pointless.
moot without comparisons.
more review pls
dude is cutting through every turn, that's dangerous
I had the s21. That is the worst tire i have ever ridden on. I was terrified of leaning over. The Pirelli diablo corsa line is so much better
...were you using it for track or road
@@rogerpriestwell6379 road. I lived in the mountains.
