I've tried finding a good After Effects video on how to make a specific 'thing' for webcam overlays. I'll try my luck in your comment section and make a request. I'd like to learn how to make a name tag with a border around it, similar to the one in the upcoming free-to-play game, 'The First Descendant'. The name tag I'm referring to is from the video titled, "THE FIRST DESCENDANT Gameplay Demo 2 HOURS 4K". I'm only asking about the first few seconds, specifically at the 0:07 to 0:09 timestamp of that video, "THE FIRST DESCENDANT Gameplay Demo 2 HOURS 4K". The names 'Lepic' and 'Viessa' appear at the very bottom in yellow with a golden glow and border. It doesn't have to go grey, just stay with the gold glow.
I will eventually refresh a webcam overlay tutorial, since I have done a few back when I started the channel. But I won't promise it looking like the example you provided. It is not complex, just needs a bit of designing the button.
Direct to the point, thank you & you earned my respect & a subscriber
