2022 Mindset for My Lawn Care Business

- I am planning for 2022 to be a big year in the lawn care business. I was able to take some time off around the holidays and reflect on my life and business. In this video, I share 4 main thoughts on how I plan to run my lawn business this year. I am working on not only continuing to be more profitable, but also on improving my quality of life. I have shifted my mindset to a point where I am okay if I lose a customer who is less than ideal. Now, I can have room to replace that customer with a more ideal fit for my business.

You the man, Jason! I have been in the green industry serving clients and making good money since April 5, 2008. I can attest to your content that you are spot on. Love your heart for the Lord. I teach my kids this and repeat this often: “Daddy is boss and Jesus is KING”. Thanks for representing King Jesus and never losing sight of the most important things in life, those which are unseen and eternal. Much love and blessings brother! Here is to a VERY profitable 2022 💪 Regards, Riley Adkins, President & US Marine Combat Veteran | Five Star Lawn Care
Good to hear from a Christian brother. Glad to hear things are going well
Prayer and Bible study is the best way to start the day. 🙏
I agree
Best video, spot on brother and may god bless you in all you do!
Thank you
This is a great video I have 600 customers and it’s hard to keep employees throughout the year so now I find myself overwhelmed and understaffed
Thank you for watching
600 customers? Damn how do you do that?
Yes sir I love it when I get new customers that pay well and on time one of the 1st things I do I set up getting rid of a customer that isn’t profitable
I like that strategy
Great video Jason! Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to the green industry. Can't beat those small flat yards!
Thank you
This is literally the greatest video of all time Jason I'd love to have a intellectual conversation with you one day considering buying the basic standard weed control program of yours if you have heard of tru green I have had 50+ of there customers call this year complaining and I dont do fertilization I mow and landscape but it's a lot of money to turn down. God bless you brother.
Thank you
Good stuff. Just picked up the courses the other day.
Thank you
One of your best vids and best motivational talks you've given. Man you've been killing the vids lately between this and the stereotypical vids. Thanks brother John's Lawns East Tn
Thanks for the kind words
Hi Jason. I have been following you for a few years. Your videos are great and very helpful. I recall you had some staff in the past. What has changed to shift you to being a solo operator? Thank you
Awesome video! Especially love the "Quality of life" I made a similar commitment last year and the result was less work but a 20% revenue growth because I was more focused and energized. Have a awesome year. God Bless!!
Jason guess what?!!! U R a laser 😊😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome video, Jason! You've validated alot of thoughts that have crossed my mind. Thanks!
Still running Prodiamine first thing this season? Any Princep in the mix?
How do you get those Lazers? Your budget must be huge for this channel now! Are you now mowing with a Lazer J?
Hey Jason, been following your channel for a few years. Quitting my 20 year career in tech to start my lawn care business. Looking to get at least 5-10K worth of work in February. What do you recommend I do and what jobs should I be looking for? Thanks for all you do for the lawn care community.
How long have you been in business? Do you have any degrees or certifications? Just curious because I'm starting a lawn care business and I've been in business for 30 plus years with big jobs and big numbers in the building industry and restoration business.
Thanks Jason.
I have a college degree but it's not in landscaping.
@@lawncarelife 104. I didn't know if you were horticulturalist or not. Most degrees don't do what we all thought back then. I like your videos and would like to meet you one day if I'm in the area. I'm here in the Tidewater area of VA. I've been through it all and would love to share some advise with you. You seem like a good man and a straight shooter and I'm familiar with all of your issues you spoke of. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and info. You are on the right track I believe. 👍 Happy New Year 2022! Make it a good one as I'm sure you will.
How many employees do you have?
