I loved yalls reaction. This song is for everyone. Its a reminder to everyone that although right now things are tough and there are restrictions on everything you have to do these days, we dont need permission to be happy, dance and enjoy life. I loved the fact that they encorperated sign language into their choreography and showed a diversity of people, ages, occupations and genders.
It has no deep meaning and is just a feel good song.

I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun.
I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll".
I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun.
The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too.
I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along.
It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter.
Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun.
Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us.
You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them.

The music video is wholesome with many elements making it very inclusive, such as diverse representation of race/age/gender, featuring essential workers, and choreo based on International Sign Language. They're celebrating those who are often marginalized and forgotten in our society. This very much aligns with their intention shared in interviews about how them singing in English at this point after the global pandemic, when everyone in the world is suffering, was their way of trying to reach as many people as possible and give them comfort and hope.So to me, this is a song that's very much BTS, unapologetically doing what they want to without needing permission, authentically sharing their thoughts, admitting their struggles but also always managing to not lose hope, and comforting us with a positive message. This is BTS.

BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof Boy Scouts. They are a 7 member group from South Korea. By the way, the Jabberwocky's did the BTS Permission To Dance challenge, and Elton John as well, so there is respect between artists. RM and Suga(combination of shooting guard, his favorite position in basketball) were underground rappers before they became trainees, and J Hope was a underground street dancer and then joined a dance team called Neuron and won awards. Jimin had some popping and locking skills and was trained as a contemporary dancer before becoming a trainee. Jungkook could sing, but V and Jin didn't have any formal training. V could play the saxophone. They trained for 3 years before debuting in 2013.

I know you did Mic Drop and DNA but honestly you said you reacted to all their older MVs/songs (and obviously i know you don't mean EVERY ONE of them) but Dynamite, Butter and now Permission to Dance are just either their songs with the most views (Since they are in english and played on the radio more and therefore reach more people) but honestly (in my opinion at least) those are not their best songs. They are pop songs with a 'feel good' vibe and the choreo thats cool but pretty tame compared to their others. I just think you haven't really gotten to hear the diversity of their songs and seen their better choreograpy and videos they have much more to offer (no hate to these videos because i know a lot of work still goes into making these songs and music videos). However, i appreciate you still checking out this video and reacting to it. I'm an army and while i like Dynamite and Permission to Dance and i definitely support them, they're not my favourite songs not bad just not what id show someone first when showing them BTS.

Oh I almost freaked out because J-Hope (rapper from BTS) is a huge J. Cole fan, and the rappers in general. They have a song called "Born Singer" that is a cover of J Cole's Born Sinner, if you react to it, do the live performance with subtitles. They also mention him in their song "Hip-hop lover", I recommend it since it's a song talking about their love for hip-hop and they shout out a lot of hip-hop legends.
