So unique, it's what got me hooked on BTS!
Jimin is really amazing , i am so attracted by his everything. He stood out so much for me , his dance lines and vocals are so beautiful and distinct. My eyes just cant leave him.
Since, this mv was all about comfort and healing, I couldn't keep my eyes off Taehyung. He's truly our happiness preacher and whenever I saw a purple balloon in the mv, I was reminded of "I left a purple balloon in your dream. Look it up", Taehyung said this to comfort an army way back in 2020 and this mv seems to be visual embodiment of that comment. It's so healing and feels like BTS hugged me and assured me that it'll all be okay and all the scars left by this pandemic will heal. It made me more hopeful and I look forward to when things will go back to normal again.

SUGA has been saying phrase about falling and landing since 2018. "I'm afraid of falling but I'm not afraid of landing" he said on multiple occasions, during interviews, festa, etc and now they used his words in this song
this was taken in a desert somewhere in Korea. they built the diner/laundromat just for the MV. in the dance part with the Hybe/BH family, Bang PD (chairman) and Park Ji-won (new CEO) joined them. They were behind Hobi. Bang PD (dark shirt and sweat pants), Park Ji-won (light polo shirt and khaki shorts). So heart-warming to see their agency family be part of the MV. they are truly one big happy family.
and the comment made in your reaction at the end of your first watch on the MV saying "are they hiring?"...sorry, we are first in line on the application :)

I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun.
I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll".
I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun.
The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too.
I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along.
It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter.
Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun.
Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us.
You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them.

The transition from BUTTER MV was #SmoothLikeButter into bringing their third FULL ENGLISH track brings upbeat summer of “We’re All In This Together” vibes turning into BANGTAN COWBOYS with a country-style concept; the song was composed by Ed Sheeran. Everything looks so amazingly fun including BTS *My baby JK 😎 brings back his ”Danger” era self in all black 😁 Don’t even get me started on my boys SUGA and V - They all killed it with vocals, hairstyles, choreography and fashion.* They are even using sign language to spell out DANCE (if i’m not mistaken) and THE PURPLE BALLOONS REPRESENT ARMYs SOULS LOL .... KIDDING 💜😝 OMG they dropped a WORLD TOUR hint along with others (ssshhhh, not telling hehe). *Also, I am sure everyone the MV and on-site were all vaccinated before hand; wearing the masks for visual effect in first half of the video.* This wasn’t just a new track about keeping hope through should a hardship but it was special gift to fans in celebration of ARMY fandom birthday on July 9th 🥰 #PermissionToDance #BTS #EdSheeran #StopAsianHATE

The MV will have more meaning if you know all the meanings. You have to watch the whole butter MV and the Preview of Permission to dance to understand this video. The waitress walking with pancakes with butter looking to the sky indicates a continuation from butter. The purple balloons represent end of covid for this video. (Balloons being sent free and balloons in washing machines.) The hand signs is the American Hand Sign for the deaf for "dancing", and the V signs for "peace." All the people in the video dancing are the "essential workers" (teachers, mailman, hospital workers office workers) plus elderly and children. The phrase, we don't need permission to dance means we are finally moving to a new era of freedom and normalcy. This song was a song of "Hope". BTS said this song was to all the ARMY.
