Barcelona, Spain - Spanish Civil War.
Scenes of city shortly after air raid. Various shots of buildings reduced to heaps of rubble. People move about streets. M/S of women crying hysterically. Various shots of ambulances rushing to bomb scenes. Various shots of bodies being lifted from rubble and carried to ambulances on stretchers covered with blankets. Various shots of men (some in uniform) working to clear rubble. Several shots of people being led away from bombsight looking distressed. Whole scene looks chaotic.
