    I’m a first year OT student here in Australia and I love OT but it’s so crazy to me how many people don’t know what OT is! It does not get the recognition it deserves and its kind of discouraging me to continue this career path :/ also doubting whether there are many job opportunities after I graduate. Would you say it is easy to find a job here in Australia as a new grad OT? loving your OT content so far! looking forward to more videos :)

      Hi Diana, I continue to have to explain my work all the time haha! I found it helpful to have a definition you like and remember easily :)
      there are definitely more jobs in the big cities so depending on where you are - you may consider r elocating. Lots of health recruitment companies would be happy to help you match with an employer too! But if you are looking for a full-time hospital position, it is possible but you may need to get in the door by starting as a casual or part-time first then apply internally.
