- Welcome to my channel! Everyday here in Japan I'm finding treasures and adding them to my collection. Here's Ep.99: where I unpack and try out the original classic Chanel Allure Homme. This is a beautiful fragrance that gets overlooked in the fragrance community due to all the modern flankers which get all the attention.

Love this cologne! One of my go to's for sure :). I use it in the Fall. I don't know if that's the best time of year to use it, but it reminds me of the fall so that is when I use it. :)
A really good fragrance. But to me, the Edition Blanche is my favourite. The old bottles of Allure EDT used to have a different cap, without the silver collar that says Chanel. But the scent is not much different. The major difference is the maceration that we get in older bottles. the base notes became more powerfull and woodier
I think it is most probably from 2018 because around 2010 the cap was fully grey-metal.(as in other comment) I have this one, great fragrance very tonka based, I would say it is the Coco for men.

I just tried both Allure homme and the Allure homme sport eau extreme on skin, they both smell amazing but yes the longevity of this one definitely faded away much quicker

That's right. It's not a thing here in Japan.
I bought a very old bottle for like 15 euros and i think it was not good anymore. Got a lot of alcohol out of it and it smelled odd..
I noticed that Chanel fragrances don't seem to last after a while. More than other brands, they go bad.
@@eaudetreasure Yeah it is what stopped me from buying a new 150 ml allure, that and the ridiculous pricing nowadays ;)

it's no way a 2010 bottle 2018 sounds more realistic. the older bottles don't have the silver ring on the cap.
