You're so funny about Michael - he's one of the most loved characters of the fandom since Tori's book came out 10 years ago. But understandably you haven't seen much of him in the series so far.
Alice Oseman has said there will only be maximum 4 seasons. The show has now caught up to the comics, so the 6th volume of the comics (that will be season 4) is starting to get written now. I don’t think the next season will be out next year, probably 2026, and it will sadly be the last season
Charlie’s father’s name is Julio lol. And we are at the end of vol 5 right now. 3 covered vol 4-5. Vol 6 is the last, but they’re discussing future seasons now. Also your opinion of Michael is very negative and unwarranted, he’s actually great for her!
They still have another year of school together (Nick’s year 13 and Charlie’s year 12), so we won’t ever see them long distance. The creator only wants four seasons, so a fourth season would be the final one and cover their final year in school together. They’re currently working on the last volume, which is what would be adapted in a fourth season. Episodes 3-5 of this season were also my favorites, but I like the heavier material. Joe Locke was excellent. I think Charlie is a trickier character to portray, more messy and layered. Unlike Nick, who wears his heart in his sleeve and has no poker face, Charlie (especially pre-therapy) is constantly trying to repress a lot of complicated feelings. Often his face is closed off and you have to rely on subtler cues in his body language and his tone of voice to get what he’s feeling.
alice oseman (the creator of the books/ writer for the show) has said that the 4th season would be the last. right now the show is caught up to the books, alice has written the script for the last book and is just working on illustrating it. she said heartstopper will end when nick leaves for uni (he still has 1 more year at truham)
I kinda agree- I didn't realise it was over. I felt it was a bit abrupt but then I am one of the people who have read the comics so I was expecting other conversations after this
I haven’t read until that point and it still seemed abrupt to me tbh… I was so surprised that this was the end, it just feels unfinished… we don’t necessarily need to find out where Nick is going in this season, but if we only had one line from Charlie “wherever you go we will figure it out” or sth like that it would feel a lot better imo…
@@illustratedrobin6097it ended like this also in book 5 the thing is that if I'm not remembering wrong they talked about the uni stuff, idk I already forgot I'm going to re read it now. XD
Season 4 hasn't been confirmed, but hopefully we'll get it!

Yeah show wise he hasn’t really done much yet 😅

Alice has said she wants a 4th season to finish out the story, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. Fingers crossed!

it’s oseman not osman😢
@@rubysspam Ty! I fix it 😊
We are up to the end of volume 5 of the books. Six is being written as we speak.
A potential season 4 wont be released till 2026 cause the earliest they could film is 2025 and it would most likely be the last.
💙I want their whole life stories!!!💛
i love this show so much
the end felt so weird idk

In the comic they have one more conversation post sex but I guess the writer wanted to end it differently
