Seems like an honest take on a product without any sugar coating for the sake of keeping the manufacturer happy. Ill subscribe for that kind of content. Cheers!
As a fervent user of the a10's I'm happy to see them being interatted on. That said, mine kept dying because I would lay on them, so now in 2 years I've had 2 pairs. I really hope this has been fixed. Other than that it's what makes me fall asleep at all, and I love these bad boys!! Thanks for the review Shane!
i have slept with ear buds in for years , b4 earbuds i use to sleep with headsets on . I cant sleep if its too quiet . I worked night most my life now i dont and i got use to sleeping in the day with dogs barking , kids screaming , cars racing up and down the streets . IT'S too quiet for me to sleep at night freaks me out . BUDS saved me . I'm really interest in these. Thank you .
I have the Bose sleep buds2 and they are garbage. I just got the A20 about 4 days ago and they have been flawless. No connection issues. I sleep for about 8 hours and they typically have about 40% battery when I wake up. The sleep tracking app is real nice. I wish they had more sounds to choose from but the white noise is fine.
This was so helpful. I’ve been using the Bose sleep buds for years and the left earbud has stopped working so they will no longer connect to the app. I’ve just seen that the Bose engineers have set up Ozlo which is the new generation of the Bose Sleepbuds. They’ve made all the necessary improvements but they’re currently $400 AUD as a start up increasing to $450 when they launch on their site. I’m sure they will be better quality to Soundcore but the A20 is retailing for significantly less at $250 AUD. I was initially looking at the A10’s but the reviews on the battery weren’t great. I love that these new generations can connect to other apps so you can do a meditation or breathwork before moving to the sleep sound mode.
How's the battery life? I have the A10s, and that's my biggest beef with them. If you play sounds all night, rather than having them turn off when they detect you've fallen asleep, they only last about 6 hours, not 8. That's why I've stuck with my Bose sleep buds, although they're showing signs of dying. The Bose case only lasts 3 nights, while the A10 lasts about a week, but the Bose buds easily last all night long where the A10s don't.
Yep, they're right. I have the A10 and now (about a week) my new A20 and their battery lasts at least one night with about 8-9 hours of sleep. I was curious about the battery life but These buds do it
I sleep with noise also lol. (My daughter is the same) unfortunatly there are things that is harder to filter out, like my neighbour had a sub bass system, i could feel the bass in my body even if I could not hear it.
I can tell you that feeling the the vibration in your body is normal it is a mechanical effect but the noise generated part at least has been masked. That is actually a great thing . Thanks to your review I’m seriously thinking about buying those Good luck with ur neighbours
I mean I’ve used a lot of Bluetooth earbuds (about 24 pairs in the past 3 years) but I too have never used sleep buds and am considering them I always knock out my daily AirPods Pro 2 during sleep
Thanks for the great review! Two questions, 1) in Bluetooth mode can you also use them to watch movies(e.g. netflix) / youtube videos? Or its restrictive to specific apps that are mainly for music (e.g. Spotify) 2) can you use a single earbud or you need to use both at the same time ? Thanks in advance!
I had the A10s until they finally died on me and the only thing i didn't like was the battery life. They would only last for about 5 to 6 hours then die. Soundcore nailed it with the A20s. I sleep at 9:00 pm and get up at 5:00 am and with the A20s I still have 30% battery life left on them when I wake up. And the A20s are a little more comfortable too. Very happy with them so far. Just hope they last long.
I have a question. I hope you can answer. Besides the four preset alarm sounds, is there a way to get any different ones?? They are too soothing for me. I need something a little more obnoxious. The A10’s had a beeping sound that came on gradually that I liked. Thank you.
@@JesseThomas-v8c As far as I can see there are only 4 alarm sounds in the app. I don't use the alarm function because I automatically wake up at 6:00 am. Maybe a future update on the app may give you more choices or the ability to use your own alarm sounds.
@@JesseThomas-v8c As far as I can see there are only 4 presets for the alarm. Maybe a future update will give us more options, maybe even letting us create our own alarm sounds.
I tried different combinations of tips but I still can hear my husband talking, so in my case conversations are possible with these in your ear. Received them today so this will be my first night trying the A20’s.
I have the A10s; they are really helpful, but I now tend to use them only occasionally if I can't fall asleep or if I'm travelling. They are fine for 1 or 2 nights, but my ears hurt after more than 3 nights without a break.
Thank you for the video. I was wondering if there are other Alarm sounds or can I download other Alarm sounds? The four that were given are two soothing. I need something a little more obnoxious. The A-10 had a beeping sound that came on gradually which I liked. Thank you for any information. You can give me.
Compared to the Galaxy Buds Live? Since the Live don't rest in my ear canal, they are comfortable when sleeping. I wish Samsung would release an update, perhaps with better water proofing. This seems like it could be a good replacement. I don't need something which provides the sound scape, but comfort is critical. I think I would need passthrough as a feature to really use these though.
My snore mask 1 and two get a whining driver noise behind them and it’s distracting. I thought my dog was whimpering. I tried my partners set and his do the same
They don’t have actual white noise or brown noise or pink noise etc! Has anyone come up with a workaround other than bluetooth stream it from another source?
I'm on call one week per month. Are these good for receiving phonecalls in the middle of the night as well? I always use earplugs but I can't when I'm supposed to be reachable during that week, which leads to crappy sleep.
They don't have a mic and are not meant to be used for calls. They also don't cancel outside sounds completely, so a phone set to a loud ringtone would most likely wake you up. You could also set them to play the ringtone in your ear when a call comes in, but that would probably only work with a IFTTT or a similar app.
Received mine yesterday. Compared to a10, I'm verydisappointed by the new voice that tells you at high volume when you change mode using the double tap. BLUETOOTH MODE... SLEEP MODE. So far, i have yet to find a setting to mute that unnecessary announcement.
There were one or two nights that I was struggling to sleep particularly bad which resulted in me tossing eternity even more that I did have a couple of instances of them falling out. I would wake up at some point with only one of them in. I think that's just bound to happen from time to time if you toss and turn as much as I do lol. Overall, they stayed in a lot better than I was expecting.

My Bose 1s just stopped connecting. Stupidly, I bought the 2s. Garbage IMO. They actually drain power in the box when not in use. Unbelievable.

That’s the major upgrade, a20 are 14 hours app 10 hours Bluetooth streaming.
They fixed it. The A10s wouldn’t last all night for me, now the A20s get to 7:30 with some juice in them yet. And it doesn’t disconnect like the A10.

A passthrough with a sleep timer would be dope... Like you could set them where the passthrough turns off in 30 or 60 mins
Thanks!

Great video. By any chance can u listen to audio while using other sounds?
When you're listening to sleep sounds you're basically in a different mode so you can only listen to the sleep sounds you loaded onto them.
They don’t have actual white noise or brown noise or pink noise etc! Has anyone come up with a workaround other than bluetooth stream it from another source?
Can you share where to get the app? I have the A20, and the app in the Play Store still does not support it.

so did they stay in your ears all night long or did any of them fall out during the night?

ADHD?
Are you asking me if I have ADHD?
