This was such an epic night. Great memories............
For real....im so thankful I was able to partake in this madness lol
This was a mind blowing show to attend in person. Rediculous setlist....my highlight of the festival!
sometimes i miss the old STS9, don't get me wrong they still throw down but these were their best days in my opinion.
accurate
Shaw0817 .... Ikr But check it- in 2008 there were a ton of fans hating on this new stuff and yearning for old tribe 99-02 lol
This show can aptly be described as “Instant Classic”.
Im a dead fan from way back, and tribe, who i saw first in 05, had the vibe not dissimilar to The dead, so in 2008 i pushed back on all the haterade the fans were saying about peaceblaster. I had 3 years of tribe under my belt at that time and i told everybody who would listen that this peaceblaster material was epic and was their best work to date (many were into artifact and earlier)...
They smashed it for this show, i was able to get a vip cabin right off the stage with hottub. The first rothbury, when they opened the gates everyone at the same time walked thru the forest for the very first time, oohhing and ahhhing , i could go on.
Besides the fact that Murph wasn't a very good bassists and needed to use a computer to keep up his love of the donuts and ego were an obvious problem. He lost sight of his own stated mission and they're better off without him.
I saw over 20 shows 2009-2012. I really loved their energy around that time. Artifact is a better album, but Peaceblaster has some songs that really slap live.
brings back lots of memories
This was such a good show! We had an absolute blast.
My 1st STS9 experience, loved it!
i know so many people there
WHERE IS CARL?!!!!!
Quarantine probably. Haha
CARL!!!!
Where is he? Lolol thx for the memory! Love hearing the “reports from the front lines “ .
I miss i clips
What song are you playing at 1 hour 37 minutes in ?
Crazy how fast they push themselves these days vs 2008.
is it just me, or does this audio recording sound like it's a step behind? or a hint slower than normal? for example, download the normal mp3 version of this set from sts9.com - then, reduce the speed, or the temp by 10%, and this is what it would sound like...
i'll bet you $100 if you lined this audio next to the original recording, this would be slower... something is definitely off...
I concur
Does dude play drums the exact same in every tribe song or?
