I'm sure they checked thoroughly for blood but just a little reminder for everyone. I shot a doe on a drive during the Wisconsin doe hunt with my .270. Bullet went in a little back and buried in the offside shoulder. No exit wound. We did not find a single drop of blood in the fresh snow. I followed her tracks almost 100yards through the brush and found her piled up. Always make sure to give a thorough search after shooting at a deer. I have been binge watching THP the last few months and have really come to appreciate the way this group hunts. They have always demonstrated professional and ethical hunting. However, some of the firearms season hunts leave me with concerns regarding ethical shots and hunter safety; this video being the most substantial with the 4 wild shots at a deer on the run in timber. Lest we forget that their driver came rolling over that same ridge not too long afterwards. I will of course continue to watch the series but hope that they further emphasize the importance of good shot selection and safety amongst their team and viewers. Yea, it seems to be fairly unreliable too. Lots of malfunctions.
I wouldn't hunt with an AR. Love chanel love episode just love the trusty bolt action.
It's probably a bottom of the barrel bca. I don't have problems with my ars
@@anthonysurrency7134 I think it was a CMMG so it was a nice rifle. Guy behind it just didnt know how to operate it. The bolt was not fully seated because I bet he tried to chamber a round quietly and then did the same thing when it didnt go off. Cant fix stupid.
ditch those sorry tactical looking things and buy a couple 870s with some 00 buckshot and slugs. For running deer buckshot is the way to go
Alabama 11 point! Easy cheesehead😘
"Justice was served" 🤣
You fellas should consider a belt feed.
Man I wish the public land I go to had deer like this...hunted all season on pa mountain land and didnt even see a deer...
Bro I just want look to see if you posted a new video. let’s go!
It is good to see you guys spend the time and effort to drive deer. It seems to be a dying sport. Brings back good memories of the 70s and 80s with my dad and brothers who would spend the entire season during the day driving deer and sometimes spend a half pf that day dragging out the kill from miles in. Hard work but it usually paid off with someone getting a monster. Don't know why but there was a tradition that if you missed a buck. you got your shirt tail cut off and it was hung up in the lodge with your name on it... Had a lot of tailless shirts in my younger days, Loved your video, good stuff, many thanks thumbs up!!!
Congrats THP & Friends!
