Well... its hard to say, I have improved a lot in duels recently, especially with jets. I don’t know if Defyn is dedicated to duels, but I’ve seen him losing several times to Piiot in the lives they did together. I never lost much to Piiot; he and I had some good fights in duels

To me, the Mig-29G is a good example of "If you press me, I won't last long. If you ignore me, I wipe your team". Hence 11:45
Doesn't have the most countermeasures, or the best systems. But it's fast, has good instant-agility (And energy retention of you stay fast), and great missiles.
what you did at 12:09 is so satisfying to watch, i really hate Golan height map( i mostly use mountains as a cover against fox3s) but what you did is really awesome and i'm trying to learn the way you encounter missiles, keep the videos coming

Well, it has the best flight performance out of all MiG-29s and has both the R-73 and R-27ER
As good as it is in downtier, it's equally bad in uptier. Against fox3, there are chances only in close combat, but it’s encountered there extremely rarely (and only at the end of the game). This is because the fox3 holders don’t need to fly towards you, unlike you do. So, either wait for the target or try to approach from the blind spot (which is also not always possible).

I think there's a bug with Russian missles because AIM-9J being more reliable than R-60M and R-24s/R-27s overshooting or going like that was not before.

"Downtiers are 50/50 at least for me. In 13.7, you are extremely dependent on your team, as even 1v1 scenarios are difficult to win. Any AIM-120 user with half a brain can win, so it’s quite complicated. You always rely on impeccable positioning to catch inattentive players, but that won’t happen in every game. You can indeed get an ace in 13.7, but it’s more luck than anything else, even for me. To perform consistently well in 10 uptier games, I had to play as if I were in air superiority or a duel mode to get a 1v1 Master Duelist title xD. So... at least in my opinion, the effort you need to put in doesn’t justify the final results. Maybe in matches with smaller lobbies (10v10 or fewer) it’s much easier to handle the situation because there will be at least 80 fewer missiles on the other side, you know? To grind for the MiG-29G these days isn’t worth it in my opinion. If you already have it for occasional fun, that’s fine, but if not... just forget about Germany and get an F-15 or a Gripen
@@Bad_Karma777 valid points , guess I’ve anything just keep chugging along the USSR tree, hopefully they get a mig29M I think it’s called with the 9-12 performance and r77s, I’m not too much of a fun of the heavy fighters since the flankers flight models are gimped I feel I would prefer the mig flight model over the flanker

At best its only a 13.3 max Match.

Yes, because depending on the team, you’re up against +/- 90-100 Fox-3 missiles. Your positioning can cost you your life most of the time

Nice flight performance, good missiles, meh radar and awful rwr (mig29) --- bad flight performance for it's br, very good missiles, very good radar and rwr (f4f ice), in bvr there is no match, the f4 has the upper hand by far, in close range, I don't even have to tell you lol. So i'd say it's kinda related to your playstyle.
Edit: forgot to mention that both do not shine when it comes to countermeasure amount :(
It's like our friend mentioned above; he was extremely accurate in his words. But remember, Ice still has AIM-120s, so I think with effort, it’s more playable than a MiG-29SMT, for example
