Sarah Michelle Gellar brought her A game to the couch today….she just lit up the show with her energy….A really awesome couch….Sd tv….you are the best ….
He doesnt deserve anything after making his last movie. Religious propaganda and forcing a sickening message at the end..?!? He could only feel ashamed of that But no..he gets money for it!
M Night Shyamalan is a true gentleman and a strange guy at the same time. The way he respectfully looked at Rob Beckett during the entire show was like watching him thinking - how can I make a movie for this guy to be in? It was like a geek watching the cool kids. That's why I love the GNS as you get to see this different side than the usually hollywood interviews.
Every time I think "yeah, i don't really like most of those people" and watch it anyway, it's always like the best thing I've ever seen. The consistency is amazing
Graham Norton does a great job making the various star guests comfortable, interacting with him and each other. I haven't seen a better chat show host.
I think what's good is he knows when to interact and joke and when to just let them talk (to each other or generally). Too many hosts seem to want to make it about them rather than the guests.
Whether he goes through a series of "flops" and critics shred him, M. Knight Shyamalan survives to make more and more films, he's never deterred and watching him here I can see why. He is a passionate movie maker and is extremely intelligent in his craft. He is movie making and movie making is him. I'm quite inspired hearing him speak with such intelligence and passion about films.
@@MusondaV he's not stupid either. He referenced what his father told him to put white people in his movies to be successful and he's not wrong. It's unfortunate but that's what reality is.

Many thanks from New Zealand, you're waaay ahead of our broadcasters! Excellent dynamic on the couch this week. and Sam's voice is sublime. Excellent episode, very much appreciated xxx
I enjoyed the couch much more I expected to. Great interaction between the guests 💕 it must be tremendous watch a movie with Night Shyamalan. I would do it watching with him LOTR commenting on Peter Jackson choices. And now I am excited about next week, woh. Thanks to @SDTv for uploading so fast in such a great quality 💕💕💕
I would love to see a movie with him and hear him talking about how to do stuff. I used to do the same as a younger person. I would see anything on the tv and in my mind I was choosing different camera shots and editing it all differently. Its like a learning lesson!
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sam Smith in the same couch! Please they should become friends as she asked them! I would be soooo happy if Buffy appeared in one of their videos! Love them both!
I really liked M Knight Shayamalan's approach to films and his life. I find it so hard to reconcile his thoughtfulness and evident joy of the craft with the disaster that was Avatar, but it makes me want to explore his work again!
In his latest movies he advertises fanatics behaviour and religious bigotry making it possible to sacrifice people for the “greater good” If it was a satire i would say …ok. But sadly that is the real message of that movie, i really was in shock by the rottening message it spreads.
Great episode. I'm excited M. Night is making another movie. I thought he would just promote Servant. I love all his movies. And I had no idea Sam Smiths was so huge! In a different time line, he could have been a boxing heavy weight champion. Another very fun Graham Norton hit.
Looking at M. Night's watch at 30:38, I didn't realise this show is filmed at 3pm-ish rather than in the evening. I don't think that's the time in USA, or would it be? Thanks for posting the show, SDTV, I always enjoys these! :)
It's shot in advance and then edited. It's usually not even shot on the same day. But the evening in the UK does coincide with the afternoon in the US.
I love how she genuinely laughs at every joke and looks really interested in other's stories. She is such a good listener, we all need someone like her in our lives

haven't seen SMG on screen for many years let alone a talk show, and she didn't skip a beat here... she owned the sofa.
Agreed
She certainly owned the sofa. Along with M Night Shyamalan's parents, who weren't even there 😀
i thought exactly the same, so cool
It's really hard to listen when she is talking, It's like a tornado!
She still looks pretty much the same and has pretty much the same shiny charisma.
This is the very first time I see a Sarah Michelle Gellar interview and she is doing it great in this group. Great.
Thank you for uploading!
There's some chemistry between SMG and MNS. The "middle schooler meets the cool girl"-moment was cute, really!😍
Sarah Michelle Gellar brought her A game to the couch today….she just lit up the show with her energy….A really awesome couch….Sd tv….you are the best ….
I love Foy and Gellar expression when Shyamalan finished his dark description of the movie 😄
Graham is the only host in the world capable of making MNS relax and be spontaneous.
But he is still acting like a director, he observes more than talks!
He doesnt deserve anything after making his last movie.
Religious propaganda and forcing a sickening message at the end..?!? He could only feel ashamed of that
But no..he gets money for it!
@@mse5739 He finances his own movies with his own money. Whatever money he makes is a return on his own investment. FYI.
@@mse5739 I wonder if you've read the book by Paul Tremblay, which is the original story.

I could feel how M. Night felt when he started started talking about SMG being the "epitome of cool". Such a sincere moment between the two of them.

26:35 the Sofa's faces over the next 5 seconds and the reaction to MKS's premise of his new movie is priceless
I was dying laughing at that moment. No one was expecting that. The way MNS described the premise didn;t sound like that's where it would end.
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to watch this complete episode... all the way through the end credits.

M Night Shyamalan constantly being the only one looking directly at the camera. lol. so adorable.
How could you not adore Claire Foy.
Easily when she is rude to other guests
@@mortysmith8049 You’ve got me confused. Who’s she ever been rude to?
I did not know what to expect from this couch, but, i thoroughly enjoyed this eclectic mix.
Well done.
A great example of how the guests tried to create a comfortable environment and. got a great show
Woo-hoo! Thanks for the upload😍

SMG needs to be in a M Night Shyamalan movie
I was thinking the same. They could be great together in the suspense genre.
