Number plate is hitting your tyre. The force of one hand pushing down on the seat is less than your weight + Acceleration and bumps. If in doubt then film it.

Haha thanks Peter, gloves are a bit of a habit. At least if I go down I can still pursue a career in hand modeling. You're right about investing in some good riding gear, especially if I get back into sportbikes 🙌
A good pair of gloves if you are sliding down the road, will be better than getting gravel pressed into your palm

For the plate issue. Any chance it could just be from the wind? Looks like it is bowing out from the middle where there are no screws. And would I ride one..... I bought one (got videos about it up on my channel too)
Not cheap for a motorcycle is an understatement lol also electricity does add up just saying especially if you have to have special chargers installed at your home in order to avoid going and sitting and charging station, I know the zeros have wall plugs but the charge time is snail pace if you need to go somewhere fast. Still like it but you have to consider this especially when it’s twice the price of high end sports bikes that you can fill up and go. Also if you live in apt you won’t be able to install a special charger so you will be left up to the chance of the apartment having them. Also idk how you will charge at an apt with wall plug you gonna run an extent cord from your unit and make the whole place look like crap. All things you have to think about.

NO Single speed Reduction Gear. Doubt there exist a motorcycle transmission strong enough to survive an electric motor with that much sudden torque.
It has full torque at almost all RPM so no need for gears.
I can already feel the electronic's people waiting to hack this bike all out. #future #goelectric

The only problem is see is the range. That's a deal breaker for an avid rider who likes to go put and cruise.

License plate. Under acceleration the tail of a bike squats. Under very heavy acceleration the back squats a lot. My hypothesis is your mate accelerates like a bat out of hell and the plate hits the tire. Test it out. Straighten the plate a little and supply some clean tape or paint to the bottom. Go crank it all out and look at the results. Alternatively just mount that insta360 camera on a ram mount and capture it all on film or remove the plate and see if the profile matches the tire.

Stop storing your helmet by cramming it up under the rear tire and your plate won't get all crunched up.

Water carved out the Grand Canyon and moved mountains. Along with debris coming off the back tire, water is likely the culprit causing the plate to bend.
Got the proper medication for this already, all good Grayson but anyway thanks for sharing your thought about it.!

Hi John, yes you do need to register it as a motorcycle and have a motorcycle license to ride it on the roads in the US.

I can't help more than to say, yes you almost certainly will need a full motorcycle license for these powerful electric motorcycle

Hey Rob, I hope you don't mind me asking but how tall are you? I've heard in the past that electric motorcycles are small and I heard one person describe being on the Zero SR/F as feeling like a gorilla on a minibike. I've heard the Zero SR/S is basically an SR/F with the fairings. When you were sitting on it the bike looked regular size. Did the bike feel small to you?
Hey, I'm an even 5'8" the bike fit great and actually felt slightly larger than other sportbikes I've owned in the past, including the CBR 600RR, ZX6R, Ninja500 etc. You're right it's pretty much an SR/F with fairings.
Hey Rob. Please wear riding gear. It may just save you a year of rehab (or more) to grow your skin back. Not to mention a huge risk of infection. I live in the tropics of Australia and I can manage. I’m sure you can in San Diego too. Cheers buddy.
