Omg, I had two Case skid steers back in the 80’s, after having several chain failures I totally fixed my chain problems by buying a Bobcat. Thirty years later and I still own Bobcat. Thanks Case. You taught me well.
Thanks for the video! My left side just started popping... I’m hopping for a loose chain and no broken teeth. I stopped after the third pop. This doesn’t look as bad as I was thinking
I just bought a mustang 940 skid steer and has a broken drive chain that I am going to replace then need to fill will oil for chain drive what type of oil is used for chain??
Left rear chain came off the sprocket. It gave a warning for some time that something wasn’t right but like a fool I kept going. I pulled cover and teeth appear to be okay. I can’t see the drive sprocket to see what condition it’s in. Anyway, is this common for them to loosen up like this?
I don't see any hub zerks... If it has them, make sure to grease them good a few times a year, if they aren't there.... You might want to put some in.. I didn't know they were there, was unloading a semi load of hay when a front set of wheel bearings went. Fun ride!!! Only set I've changed since '91.... They've been regularly greased since then too😎 Always love the white oil...🤣😂 Doesn't take long..
Hi i purchased a used case 1845 runs but has a bad drive motor on the front passenger would you please upload a detailed video of how it goes therefore I can order parts and motor thanks
Pray it's linkage!! It shouldn't be a drive pump, because the loader works. As far as I know, the C should be the same as the B... Supply pump is the last one in line.
@@317LIMO there isn't a centrifugal clutch, the drives are two piston hydralic pumps will a swedge plate.. to control flow .. should be something in the linkage or where the link arm clamps on the pump could be loose
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin Thanks, this is definitely looks very similar to a snowmobile clutch. I truly appreciate your help, the machine is older than I am, and I just got it to use around the farm. It is hydraulic activated and there is a leak, so I am curious if there is not enough pressure to actually engage? The machine is a 1977 (year) 1845 (model).

We all have personal preferences. I've ran 3 different bobcats and hated all of them lol. Thanks for watching

You're very welcome. That was my first time doing that adjustment and it's pretty simple. Thanks for watching

Ive seen guys use 15w40 motor oil or hydraulic fluid. One of my buddies drained his hydraulic system for a service and dumped that in the chain case.

@@markb2007 Yes it is.
Great machine and easy to work on

1 zerk was broken off and 2 wouldnt take grease. I replaced all 4 zerks before I sold it. They're kind of a pain to get to.
@@c.mcghee4601 LMAO!!! No, they actually are a PAIN to get at!
It can be done with wheels on, but much easier with wheels off!!!
😁

I would love to but I sold that machine 2 years ago.
A lot of times the just need adjusted not replaced. Even that rear hub has adjustment left.
why won t my 1845c case move front or back, it starts and arms move
If I had to guess I would say the drive motor is out or the linkage came off.

@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin I have the same issue. It seems the centrifugal clutch isn't engaging on mine.

You talking about? 😉. Great video bub.
You might want to change the oil! Amsoil
Used amsoil would be fine in there. I wouldn't waste my money putting new amsoil in a chain case
more wind
It's crazy how much noise a fan can make. Thanks for watching.
