Thank you for posting this. Hearing the testimonies of those whose life was touched by Jesus is one of the great joys I get to have in my life. People.... If you are ever in Brooklyn on a Sunday morning, you have to come out to Christian Cultural Center as mentioned by Michael Jr. What ever preconcieved idea you have about church wil change on that Sunday. I'm not saying that because I attend, but because the ministry is truly as awesome as Michael Jr. said. It is like that every Sunday, with an atmosphere where you will need to bring your Bible, a notebook. and an open heart and mind to receive Pastor Benard's teaching. Truly awesome!!
I agree with the GPS theory only because at the end he clarified it more by saying that if you keep making the wrong turn you can run out of time. Thus if you keep making the wrong decision and never listen you won't arrive at the proper destination. At some point in time you Do have to listen, you don't just magically end up at the right place regardless of your choices, nor do you get abandoned by God. Thus his example was right on.
Michael Jr., George Wallace & Jerry Seinfeld....can it get any better. I wish youtube had michael Jr. routine from Just for Laughs in Montreal, he blew away the crowd......he's gonna make it big, IMO.
@EvidentTruth the Bible also says "seek first the kingdom of God" We are seeking, then it says, "knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find." Salvation is by Grace through faith. Faith is the evidence of what you seek, that is not yet seen. You have to read the whole Bible.
Michael has a way of taking the truth and looking at it in a funny way. Like what he said about the book of Mathew and Jesus dying...then he got to Mark and He dies again. This guy is too funny!
I am a christian. I dont think that we find God the bible is clear that we dont seek him. Romans 3:10-14, Romans 8:13, John 6:44 Ephesians 2;1-3. Salvation comes from Gods Sovereign Grace. Romans 9-11. Ephesians 1:3-11 Nothing we do earns us salvation its all him. We dont seek him . The bible reffers to our pre-regenerate state as dead, blind, deaf, slaves. So I would respecfully agree. He would hold to what is known as Arminianism where I hold to Calvinistic stand points on Salvation
